Around October 1 the National Day celebration holiday period, Hong Kong practitioners organized a series of activities to clarify the truth and promote the Fa (law and principles) to the Hong Kong special administrative region government, local citizens and tourists from all over the world. With Jiang Zemin and his cohorts immorally elevating their persecution plot, there is an immediate need to expose their criminal acts of suppression to people around the world, and call for all sentient beings' righteousness and conscientiousness.

To let more people know about China's current persecution situation, Hong Kong practitioners handed out many flyers at various locations almost every day during the past two months. These flyers explain the truth about Falun Gong and unveil the reality of the brutal suppressions. During these two months, practitioners also organized various other activities including events such as photo exhibitions, introduction video seminars and peaceful petition parades.

September 29, Friday

Early in the morning, practitioners showed up in the busy central business district, Zada park, and Tianxin ferry to tell the truth to people and call for their support. They carried more than ten large display boards that exhibited the photos of the inhumane persecutions encountered by mainland China practitioners, Falun Dafa introduction materials and flyers that expose the evil deeds of Jiang Zemin.

September 30, Saturday

The practitioners continuously handed out "fact sheet" flyers at different subway stations, streets and other busy public areas in Hong Kong and Kowloon.

Starting from 10:00AM until 5:00PM, some practitioners also went to the Liaison Office of the Chinese government (formally Xinhua News Agency) to peacefully appeal.

In the afternoon, some other practitioners went to the Wanchai area, where most of the government departments and agencies are located, to hand out flyers. The large display boards caught a lot of attention. Many people stopped to read them.

Around 7:00PM, some practitioners went to promote the Fa at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, where a National Day celebration event was taking place. Practitioners delivered materials into the hands of some famous people from the performing arts field and other socially notable people.

Saturday was also the open house day for Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Another group practitioners went there to hand out flyers. The area was very crowded with tourists and visitors. Several thousand flyers were distributed in just a few hours.

October 1, Sunday

Early in the morning, practitioners once again went to the Hong Kong Liaison Office of Chinese government and organized a small-scale parade that did not require a permit.

Around dusk, many well-known people, celebrities and representatives from other countries gathered at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center to attend a celebration reception hosted by the Hong Kong special administrative region government. Taking advantage of the opportunity, practitioners demonstrated the exercises and appealed outside the center. Practitioners also prepared an open letter to hand to the Hong Kong leader Tung Chee-hwa to forward to leaders of the Chinese government.

At night, the Victoria Bay area was crowded with people watching fireworks. A couple of practitioners went to hand out Dafa flyers and materials around the area. After that, some practitioners went back to the Hong Kong Liaison Office of the Chinese government, hung up banners and sat there for the whole night. Such activities will continue for the next several days.
