At 9:00 p.m. local time on November 21, 2001, a Swedish TV Station reported live on the safe return of the eight Dafa practitioners who participated in the Tiananmen appeal and on the warm scene of their return and interviews. On the following morning, the TV station reported again in a special segment. The event of the eight Swedes appealing on Tiananmen Square for the Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted in China and related reports made a big impact in Sweden. When the Swedish practitioners had a stopover in Denmark, they received a warm welcome from the Copenhagen practitioners and gave interviews to Danish media.
