On July 6, after holding a press conference in Los Angeles, nine practitioners started the "SOS! Urgent: Rescue the Falun Gong Practitioners Persecuted in China" Van Tour to Washington DC. They will drive for 11 days across the whole breast of the North American Continent, and hold press conferences and events to promote Dafa and clarify the truth along the way. Their first stop is Phoenix, the capital of Arizona.

Only the morning of July 7, despite of the heat, practitioners gathered in the park in downtown Phoenix to hold a press conference, calling for urgent rescue of practitioners persecuted in China. Mainstream media -- NBC TV conducted interviews.
