Dafa practitioners in Xinji City, Hebei Province have been firmly holding righteous thoughts and protecting the Fa. The city officials responsible for persecuting Falun Gong have been replaced one after another due to their failure to change the minds of practitioners. No one has been able to stop practitioners from protecting the Fa. Recently, Shen Zhanqun, Secretary of the Party Committee in Xinji City gave an order: no city official shall plead or ask leniency for Falun Gong practitioners. 2. Xinji City Places Bounties for the Arrest of Falun Gong Practitioners Worth Tens of Thousands of Yuan

Many Falun Dafa practitioners in Xinji City, Hebei Province have left home to avoid the brainwashing class. The local television news of Xinji City, Hebei Province, reported on June 19 that eight Falun Gong practitioners were arrested. The police also confiscated a copier, a printer, and a CD burner. The practitioners are Fu Zengqi, Fu Xiaodong (Fu's daughter), Wang Genhuai, Zhang Xiumin (Wang's wife), Chen Xijian, Zhang Zhe (Chen's wife), Geng Shun, Wang Min (Geng's wife).

4. Opera Troupe Continues with Wrongdoings After Receiving Retribution

5. Female Practitioner Detained and Tortured in Changchun, Jilin Province

Practitioner Zang Hong (30's, female) works for the Changchun University of Agriculture. She was sent by the Public Security Department of the university to an agriculture school in Xinglongshan Township to be brainwashed. She has been there for three months so far. Because she has been firm in practicing Falun Dafa, the people in the brainwashing class have tortured her brutally. Details of her other injuries are unclear at this time, but it is confirmed that she has lost her hearing due to the beatings.

6. Weizigou Labor Camp Plans To Establish Brainwashing Base

Weizigou Labor Camp of Changchun City, Jilin Province, is applying for funding to build a brainwashing base. The cost for one floor in the building is estimated to be 6 million Yuan (about 750,000 US dollars). Their intention is to escalate the persecution of Falun Gong.

The natural environment around Weizigou Labor Camp is quite harsh. There is a severe shortage of water. The inmates do not get to shower for months, and very few people can brush their teeth and wash their face daily. Since the persecution of Dafa practitioners began, the higher authorities allocated funding to the labor camp based on the number of practitioners detained. As a result, Weizigou Labor Camp became rich. Driven by money, the guards at the labor camp are eager to detain more Dafa practitioners. Currently twelve Dafa practitioners are being detained in the labor camp, with four inmates monitoring each one. 7. Baiju Road Police Substation Extorts Money from Dafa Practitioners

The Police Department of Dagang District in Tianjin is distributing a reward of 20,000 Yuan to be split among the policeman and staff each time a practitioner is arrested.

9. Police Arrest Dafa Practitioner Xuan Rong

After completing a brainwashing class, Dafa practitioner Xuan Rong from Fengrun County in Tangshan City, Hebei Province, kept on clarifying the truth of Falun Gong in other cities. He recently was arrested and sent back to the Fengrun Detention Center, where the guards are refusing visits from his relatives. The guards at the detention center are notorious for their cruelty in torturing Dafa practitioners, including hanging up practitioners for several days and nights.

10. Solemn Warning: Evil Deeds Will Incur Retribution

Peng Xiaomin, former commanding officer of the Datun Township Police Substation in Chaoyan District, Changchun City, Jilin Province, has illegally detained many Dafa practitioners who went to Beijing to appeal. He often colluded with city officials to harass and detain Dafa practitioners, employing a group of shady characters to help him. He often interrogated female practitioners in the evening, strip-searching, verbally abusing, hitting, and kicking them. He was removed from his position recently for taking advantage of his position to frame suspects.

We hereby solemnly warn Wang Jiangyi, the Party Secretary in Datun Township, who is still rampantly persecuting Falun Gong practitioners: the crimes you have committed are clearly known to everyone. You kidnapped female practitioner Li Guilin from Hanjiujuzi Township around the Chinese New Year and sent her to a brainwashing class and then to a labor camp. The inhumane torture that she suffered there has disabled her completely. Practitioner Tao Ye was an education coordinator and elementary school principal. He was a diligent worker, but you sent him to the brainwashing class and then to the labor camp.
