Dear President Bush,

I am an American citizen who originally came from China. I am also a Falun Dafa practitioner.

Before I send an SOS to you, Mr. President, on behalf of the persecuted Falun Gong practitioners in China, with a sincere and burdened heart, please allow me to bring forth to you a few famous inauguration quotes of a few beloved and much respected presidents of America's past.

Although history has turned another page, it always seems to be repeating itself.

Of course, humanity has never stopped her call to maintain morality or her criticism of human deterioration, or her protection of the good hearted, and the elimination of evil. However, when we started to compromise our moral standards with economic benefits, slowly, we have forgotten that the true sustaining power to humanity comes from aligning with the righteous and denouncing evil.

In our present world, morality has slipped tremendously. When Mr. Li Hongzhi started to teach Falun Dafa and brought about the realization of a higher morality, he touched the hearts of many to become better people. Falun Dafa can change the lives of many individuals and can also benefit the moral composition of society in general. "Truthfulness, Benevolence and Forbearance" can truly offer the light of salvation to our humanity. Falun Dafa was first taught in 1992, and in these brief nine years, there have been countless cases that have proven many of the positive effects of the practice. There are people from over 40 countries in this world who have practiced and benefited both spiritually and physically from it.

However, in today's China, Jiang Zemin started the brutal persecution of Falun Gong out of his own selfish need to secure his power. As a result, people who pursue "truthfulness, benevolence and tolerance" are being beaten, tortured, raped, burned, and murdered... not even an eight month old baby could escape this brutal fate. Jiang Zemin's persecution of Falun Gong is the most devilish event that is happening in this present world. It is a persecution of evil against the righteous. This also exposes the true nature of evil when confronting the good, which is to destroy anything that differs from itself.

Evil tries " terrorizing, threats, propaganda, violence, fright, conspiracy, bribery, temptation, corruption, etc." and all sorts of evil methods to veil the truth and lie to the world, stifle the judgement of the righteous, and expand the influence of power of evil, thus polluting the moral makeup of humanity!

It has been over two years that Jiang Zemin has ignored the condemnation from the international community and has used even more severe and cruel methods in dealing with Falun Gong to a maniacal degree. He even says, "Anyone can be released, except for Falun Gong."

Therefore, the most recent information from China shows that the 130 Falun Gong practitioners who are on hunger strike while been detained at the Masanjia Labor Camp are in a state of life and death. This forewarns that hundred of thousands of other practitioners in China also in a similar situation may be facing a more severe round of persecution.

Support the righteous; the righteous people of the world are in action!

Support the righteous; it's time for America to extend a righteous hand!

Support the righteous; it's time for the international community to stand shoulder to shoulder to protect the kindhearted, and guard the lines of basic human rights!

Mr. President, please use the power that the people have given you to speak on behalf of the kind hearted Falun Gong practitioners who are under severe persecution in China!

We call for the release of the detained permanent resident Ms. Teng Chunyan. We ask the Jiang Zemin regime to release all the illegally detained Falun Gong practitioners in China and open up a peaceful dialogue and end this reign of terror!

History shall remember; the people shall remember; and God is the witness!
