1. With their minds poisoned by the government media, office co-workers in a certain place were slandering Falun Gong. A fellow practitioner's son overheard them and said, "My elderly mother practices Falun Gong. It seems to me that after she started practicing, she became not only physically healthier, but also spiritually happier and more optimistic."
2. Although a fellow practitioner's husband is not practicing, he once read some Falun Gong books and knows that Falun Gong is good. Once, policemen came to his home and asked him to brainwash his wife. He refused. At dinner, with many people together, whenever people started chatting about "Tiananmen self-immolation," he would say, "That is deceiving people. I saw in person the crackdown on the students on 'June 4^th' [massacre in Tiananmen Square in 1989 against pro-democracy advocates]. But the next day's news report was totally different from what really happened." Having heard this, everyone realized that what he said was true and that one couldn't blindly believe the government media. He once was in a taxi when the driver started asking him about a news report detailing an alleged case of "murder by a Falun Gong practitioner." He replied, "Killing is absolutely prohibited in Falun Gong. Nowadays, science and technology are very advanced. It is pretty easy to deceive people by cutting and pasting pictures in editing a film."
3. After getting a truth-clarifying VCD, a fellow practitioner immediately presented it to his daughter and son. After watching it, the children suddenly realized what was really happening. They repeatedly said, "How could the persons in power have done this kind of thing?"
4. During summer vacation, I went to my aunt's home as a guest. She had talked about the TV program, "Tiananmen self-immolation" and some other events. Before I began to clarify the truth to her, her husband took up the topic of conversation and said, "They go on and on everyday. Why don't they ever allow Falun Gong practitioners to say anything? If it were really not good, let us read through some Falun Gong books carefully and do some research on them. Why did they burn those books?"
