Teacher granted Dafa disciples the Fa-rectification verses for eradicating the evil with righteous thoughts amidst Fa-rectification. The verses are solemn and sacred and have boundless power. Only those who have genuinely cultivated in Falun Dafa have the supernormal abilities required for eliminating the evil. The purpose of our clarifying the truth of Dafa is to let everyday people understand Falun Dafa and have the correct attitude towards Falun Dafa. The verses should not be used in flyers, posters or banners, as everyday people have difficulty understanding the connotation and may misinterpret them.

On January 25, 2001, uniformed and plainclothes policemen abducted Falun Dafa disciples Li Yushu and Liu Zhiyong from a taxi at Tanggu Fee Collecting Station, Tangshan City. The two disciples were detained and persecuted in the basement of Kaiping Public Security Branch Bureau. Determined not to compromise their ideals, they started a strict hunger strike at once, refusing both food and water. On the fifth day they were sent to Tangshan No.1 Detention Center (in Fengnan), where the strike continues. They were force-fed on February 1, and are currently in great danger! We appeal to international human rights organizations and kindhearted people around the world to help end the persecution. Meanwhile, Tangshan Dafa disciples send forth righteous thoughts in unison to eliminate the evil.

On January 22, Anqing Dafa disciples Rui Xiaolin, Cao Xiongbin and Zen Yilong were illegally sentenced to two years of forced labor reeducation for practicing Falun Dafa. They are currently detained in Nanhu Labor Camp. In order to resist the evil persecution, they have been on a hunger and water strike since their capture. They are currently in critical condition. We appeal to people of goodwill everywhere to stay informed and show support.

Wen Yaoshen, Party Secretary of Yunfu City, intensified the persecution of Falun Dafa disciples as the Chinese Lunar New Year drew near. Policemen were frenzied, conducting illegal searches for Falun Dafa disciples and literature. Two disciples in Yunan County have been illegally sent to forced labor camp. Fellow practitioners, please send forth our collective righteous thoughts to eradicate the evil.

Recent truth clarification has allowed many predestined people to obtain the Fa in our area. Now they ask for Falun Dafa books. Some said, "We were deceived by the false propaganda on TV and newspapers. We didn't know the truth. Now, even though it's hard to obtain a Dafa book, we'll manage to get one even if we have to copy it."

Falun Dafa Disciples Gaodong and Xin Minduo are in grave danger. As of December 11, 2001, Gaodong had resisted the persecution with more than 70 days hunger strike in Panjin Forced Labor Camp . Due to the tight block on information imposed by the labor camp, Gaodong's present whereabouts is unknown.

Also protesting the persecution with a hunger strike, Xin Minduo's esophagus was punctured to insert a pipe for force-feeding attempts. Xin is currently hospitalized.

Zheng Huimei is a 36 year-old resident of the sixth group at Changle Village of Changfa Township in Hailun City, Heilongjiang Province. Mischievous policemen unjustly searched Zheng's home twice in August and November of 1999. On February 19, 2001, the Political Security Section and the township police station conducted a third search of Zheng's home and abducted him. Later, Zheng was force-fed for staging a hunger strike. Others wrote on behalf of Zheng a "statement of guarantee," [stating that he would not practice Falun Dafa] which he has declared to be completely invalid. Zheng was illegally held in custody for 130 days while his sentence was only supposed to be fifteen days. Zheng had 1,500 yuan extorted from him for meal expenses in addition to the 500 yuan fine by the Political Security Section [The average monthly salary of an urban worker is about 500 yuan.]

We appeal to all kindhearted people, extend your helping hands to swiftly put an end to this brutal persecution.

On the night of February 2, some practitioners in Fangshan District were taken away from their homes. No justification for this was given. Their homes were later unjustly searched. According to new information, a large number of practitioners have recently been taken away for no reason.

On January 24, 2002 Practitioner Liu Ziwen of the Northern Survey Institute in Hebei Province was on a business trip to Changsha City, Hunan Province. He distributed Falun Gong truth-revealing CD's in Changsha and was reported to the authorities by a person in the hostel where he was staying. They found him with Falun Gong truth-clarification materials including CD's. He is currently held in the Changsha Yuhuatai Public Security Branch Station. We hope fellow practitioners who have heard about this send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil and to prevent them from persecuting Dafa practitioners.

Sun Shuyun, female, is 44 years old. She was formerly the chief of a Falun Dafa Assistance Center in Taiping District. Since July 22, 1999, malicious individuals in the police station and the management of the cement factory repeatedly and jointly used underhanded tricks on her. In 2000, in order to make a fair statement about Falun Gong, she went to an appeals office in Beijing. When administrative and police station leaders of the cement factory heard about this, they immediately sent out people to Beijing, traveling by air. They intercepted her at the door of the appeals office and made up lies to escort her back. When she returned, she was unjustly detained for fifteen days.

December 27, 2000, the police station of the cement factory lied to her by saying that they just wanted to have a five-minute talk with her and then by detaining her for 188 days. On the night of January 24, 2002, the Party secretary Li Guoliang from the neighborhood administration office of the cement factory informed the Party secretary of the cement factory Xu Yongmao that Sun Shuyun had told him the truth about Falun Gong (by giving him a CD with truth-clarification materials on it). The party committee of the cement factory called for a clandestine meeting. Afterwards, the cement factory, in coordination with its affiliated police station and neighborhood administration office forcibly took Sun away from her home. Then these malicious people broke into her home (by climbing up to the second floor with a ladder and smashing the windows) to conduct an illegal search.

We hereby issue a warning to all the villains in the area of the cement factory who persecute Falun Dafa practitioners: You can't escape punishment from the judgment of the heavenly Law. Wake up right away!

On January 13 or 14, four Falun Dafa practitioners were unjustly arrested by police in a residential building at Dongxiaokou Town of Changping District in Beijing. These four practitioners had already become homeless as a result of persecution.

One day I went to a fellow practitioner's home to clarify the truth to her daughter. Because the daughter believed all the negative propaganda on TV, she had a stubborn and bad attitude towards me. This practitioner and I decided to send righteous thoughts in order to wipe out the evil factors that were interfering with her in other dimensions. After we sent forth the righteous thoughts, when we talked to her again, her attitude became totally different and she seemed to be another person. She became very kind and had a positive attitude towards Dafa, and she clearly saw the evil persecution and slander.

I realize that when clarifying the truth we must avoid having a judgmental manner. When coming across stubborn persons if we are impatient or think that the person is not able to be saved, we cannot attain the goal of saving him. We need to have patience, consideration and compassion; we also need resolution and consistency. In addition, we must also pay attention to our tone and reasoning, and we should have great tolerance.

Qin Feng is a vicious policeman from the Political Safeguard Office of the Tienan Railway Station Police Station at Tieling City, Liaoning Province. He extorted money from Dafa practitioners' family members, threatening that only if they submit the money can the practitioner be released; otherwise the practitioners will be sentenced to three years of forced labor. This has caused great economic difficulty for Dafa practitioners and their families.
