Hong Kong Practitioners Appeal at Chinese Liaison Office, Urging Society to Stop the Jiang Regime's Order to Kill Without Mercy

March 12, 2002

Hong Kong practitioners gathered outside the Chinese Liaison Office and held a peaceful appeal starting on March 9, 2002. They strongly condemn the Jiang regime's escalating persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China and call for kind people to help stop the Jiang regime's order to "kill without mercy" and urgently rescue practitioners being persecuted in China.

On March 9 between 3 to 5 p.m., about 50 practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts outside Chinese Liaison Office. Then a practitioner read a statement regarding the Changchun practitioners' heroic feat to bring the truth to the Chinese people.

On March 10, practitioners started a SOS! Urgent Rescue Walk across busy Hong Kong streets to raise awareness of the escalating persecution in China. In addition to disclosing Jiang regime's order to "kill without mercy," practitioners also called for help from kind locals to rescue Hong Kong resident Lui Pak-fung, who was placed under house-arrest and forced to undergo brainwashing by Chinese authorities while she visited family in China. Lui's husband O Man-tsan together with 20 practitioners started from the north pier and marched peacefully through busy streets to China's representative office on Sunday to appeal for the release of two Hong Kong Falun Gong practitioners. Along the way, practitioners distributed flyers to bystanders. The walk team reached the Liaison Office at about 3 p.m. and joined other practitioners to send forth righteous thought together. An appeal letter was read aloud, calling for kind people of the world to rescue practitioners being persecuted in China and end the campaign of suppression. Mr. O Man-tsan also read his appeal letter for his wife's release. The appeal lasted until 5 p.m.

The SOS! Urgent Rescue Walk will continue on March 11, 2002.
