In early June 2002, local thugs detained Dafa practitioner Ms. Xiao Chun (pseudonym). They took her to a brainwashing class. Two people watched her. The thugs threatened her, "You only have two options. One is to be put into a Forced Labor Camp or you can write a 'guarantee statement'." Thugs forced her to watch Dafa slandering videos daily. Collaborators [former Falun Gong practitioners who have gone astray due to brainwashing and torture] indoctrinated her with their evil "enlightenment" whenever they saw her, but she was not persuaded.

She thought, "I should not be put into a Forced Labor Camp, neither should I write a 'guarantee statement'. I should leave this evil den." One night she tried to open the door and walk out. But the door made a big noise and woke up the two people who were supposed to be watching her. She could not get out at that moment. On the second night, in order to prevent her from escaping, the thugs locked the door. At night she could not fall sleep. Suddenly she saw a white light. She immediately realized that it was time to leave. She walked to the door and opened it. It did not make any noise at all. She walked out of the room but she found that the wall surrounding the yard was very high. There was only one metal door, two to three meters high. She could not find a way out. So she walked around the yard for several minutes. Then she thought, "I must get out of this evil den." She walked close to the metal door. She got through the door immediately, even though she did not know how she did it. Afterwards, she encountered another metal door. The decorative metal work in the door had left a hole, but it wasn't big enough to get through. She pondered how she could get through the hole. She put one foot through, but she still could not get through. She thought, "I definitely should get out." With this thought, she miraculously got out. She then walked until daybreak. She had walked out of the evil den with righteous thoughts.

Recently, practitioners released from the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp revealed that officials in the camp came up with new tricks to persecute Dafa practitioners. Vile persons tampered with the wording in Teacher's new articles and falsified some of them. They handed out these articles for collaborators to use in an attempt to deceive practitioners.

Mr. Jin Fujun is over 40 years old. He was an army Major in Fuxin City/Liaoning Province. In March of 2002, he decided to live in exile in order to avoid the persecution. On April 10, he was kidnapped and taken to another place. No details are available at this time.

Since July 1999, lawless officials from Dingzhou City in Hebei Province continuously extorted money from practitioners with the excuse of setting up brainwashing classes. They kidnapped practitioners in order to put them into brainwashing classes and then ordered practitioners' relatives to pay a large sum of ransom to bail the practitioners out. Recently they shamelessly claimed, while arresting practitioners, "We have run out of money again." They even arrested female practitioners who were still breast-feeding their babies. Because they frequently extorted money from practitioners' relatives, many families became very poor. We urgently call on the worldwide community to please pay attention to and speak out against these crimes, which are happening in the 21^st century. Meanwhile, we also ask local practitioners to hold righteous thoughts all the time and resist the evil together.

Recently, vicious police rounded up and took Dafa practitioners away from their homes and sent them to Forced Labor Camps. Directors and team leaders from the forced labor camp and personnel from the "610 Office" [An agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems] used ever more vicious means to abuse and mistreat practitioners.

On May 13, 2002, personnel from Jiaocheng County's Police Department ransacked the home of a Dafa practitioner couple, Wang Defu and Guo Fengying. The officers did not provide a search warrant. They also forcibly took the two practitioners away. After that, another Dafa practitioner, Xue Gong, was also taken away.

Hui Jianmin, deputy director of Jiaocheng County's Police Department, is in charge of persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. He has master minded numerous persecution schemes. His home phone number is 011- 86-358-3520388.

Wang Yong is a wicked policeman from Dawei Town's Police Precinct in Jinzhou District/Dalian City. He verbally abused Dafa practitioners, beat and kicked them. He even ransacked practitioners' homes without following legal procedures, claiming, "You could be sentenced merely for having these materials." This criminal policeman turned practitioners' homes inside out and even seized the hay in their stables.
