(Clearwisdom.net) [Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionateáreminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.]

Starting July 22, 1999, the Dehui City Public Security Bureau in Jilin Province has been illegally persecuting innocent Falun Gong practitioners. Incomplete statistics are shown below.

In 2001, 124 practitioners were detained (with non-criminal records); 11 practitioners were detained (with criminal records); 104 practitioners were sent to labor camps.

In the few months between January 2002 and March 2002, 70 practitioners were detained (with non-criminal records),
4 practitioners were detained (with criminal records) and 20 practitioners were sent to labor camps.

The lawless officials sent out the entire city's police force to abduct Falun Gong practitioners on numerous occasions. They also searched their houses and imposed fines -- persecuting even the practitioners' relatives. Horror blanketed the city and her suburbs. Many families were broken; many practitioners were sent to prisons to suffer cruel torture; many practitioners became jobless and even homeless. Life was very hard for them.

However, heaven's law is that "good is rewarded with good while evil is met with karmic retribution." Since autumn of this year, the superior prosecutor fired and/or arrested many policemen due to their own offences such as bending the law for the benefit of relatives or friends, perverting the law, and joining up with gangs. So far, 20 policemen were dismissed, and 28 received disciplinary warnings or more serious punishment. The following list shows the names of the policemen:

Just as Teacher said in the article "Dafa is Indestructible,"

"I can tell you, all of the natural and man-made disasters that have been happening in Mainland China are already warnings for the sins the beings there have committed against Dafa. If they don't come to realize it, then the real catastrophe(s) will begin. All the evil people who have sinned against Dafa, specifically those who are no longer useful in the evil so-called 'test' of Dafa disciples, have already begun to meet with retribution for their evil. From now on this will happen on a large scale."

We have some advice to those policemen who still have some kindness left in their hearts:

"Please stop persecuting Dafa and Dafa practitioners. Do not be deceived by the lies. Chose to be good so as to pick a bright future for yourself."
