Ruthless means are used in the coercive "brainwashing centers" conducted by the Deyang Prison, Sichuan province: Falun Gong practitioners are forced to run endless laps during the day and are prohibited from sleeping at night. If practitioners don't have enough energy to keep running, the vicious jail guards order the criminal inmates to drag practitioners to force them to run. Furthermore, the police officers willfully lock practitioners in small cells, handcuff and shackle them, shock them with electric batons, and so on. Practitioner, Liu Tao was locked in a small cell for two weeks and was handcuffed and shackled the entire time. The jail guards beat practitioner Wang Xiaosong with batons so badly that he lost consciousness. Moreover, the jail police forced practitioners to watch videos every day defaming Falun Gong. They even secretly incited the criminal inmates to beat determined Falun Gong practitioners.

At present, several dozen Falun Gong practitioners, including several families of practitioners, are wrongfully imprisoned in Majialong Forced-Labor Camp in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi province. The labor camp uses four drug-addict inmates to watch over one practitioner 24 hours a day, to prevent the practitioner from sleeping, using the toilet or even talking. Practitioners who refuse to accept the brainwashing are handcuffed to a window with their arms stretched out. Shi Shuangshuan, a practitioner from Jiujiang County, was sentenced to three years in a forced labor camp simply because she wrote a letter to the Jiujiang Daily newspaper explaining the facts about the persecution.

Before the 16^th Party Congress, Jiang's regime secretly ordered the absolute suppression of Falun Gong practitioners. Practitioners in Changchun area encountered severe repression from authorities. Some material sites (where practitioners compile and prepare truth-clarifying materials) from the five suburb counties were damaged. The police abducted a number of practitioners. The material site in Nongan County, Jilin Province was destroyed and the loss was significant. As of November 1, 2002, the police started massive arrests of Dafa practitioners. Now in Nongan County, chambers equipped with instruments of torture have been set up. The tortures include forcing practitioners to sit on a "Tiger Bench" [Practitioners are forced to sit on a small iron bench that is approximately 20 cm (6 inches) tall with their knees tied together. With their hands tied behind their backs or sometimes placed on their knees, they are forced to sit straight up and look straight ahead. They are not allowed to turn their heads, close their eyes, talk to anyone or move at all. Several inmates are assigned to watch over the practitioners and force themáto remain motionless while sitting on the bench. Usually some hard objects are inserted underneath the practitioners' lower legs or ankles to make it harder for them to tolerate this abuse (see illustration on http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2001/11/24/16156.html )], handcuffing and hanging practitioners up, hanging up practitioners with both hands cuffed behind their backs, pressing thick sticks against practitioners' backs, shocking practitioners with electric batons, using shackles to bind practitioners' hands and feet together, and beating practitioners with fists or kicking them. Many practitioners have been severely tortured.

Commemorate the death of Dafa practitioner Wang Kefei: For validating Falun Dafa, Kefei had been imprisoned in detention center or forced labor camp several times, but her determined faith in Falun Dafa remained unchanged. From my contact with her, I was deeply impressed by her kind and considerate character and morality. I can't believe that such a gentle, soft, and kind lady was murdered by the Changchun Heizuizi Forced-Labor Camp. Kefei left carrying her beautiful beliefs, her good wish that all sentient beings would assimilate Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance, and her disdain of evil.

Return my husband, Zhang Yin -- A letter to those who persecute good people against their consciences: My husband, Zhang Yin, was an employee in the Fifth Hebei Metallurgy and Construction Company. Because he would not give up his practice of Falun Dafa, he suffered from persecution at his workplace and the police station in the high-tech development region in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei province, for two and a half years. They also constantly came to my home to harass me, just like home wreckers. I was forced to leave home to avoid further harassment. Good deeds will be rewarded with good while evil deeds will meet with retribution. The natural and man-made disasters occurring in recent years have rarely been seen in the history of mankind. If they do not stop persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners, those who obstinately stick to the wrong course will meet even more severe catastrophes.

Seeing the rebirth of stars in the Milky Way galaxy in other dimensions, I came to understand: Dafa practitioners are assisting Teacher in rectifying the Fa and actively eliminating the evil in other dimensions rather than passively allowing the evil to persecute us. If our Dafa practitioners as a whole do not have any attachments or pursuits and keep strong enough righteous thoughts, the evil will be unable to do anything. A few suggestions:

1. Study the Fa more. Calmly study the Fa well, and everything will turn to goodness.

2. Effectively send forth righteous thoughts.

3. Do not be attached to time, do not be deluded by the superficialities; everything will be created in our course of participating in the Fa-rectification. We are the kings of the universes and we determine everything.

My personal understanding regarding how Dafa practitioners in the Fa-rectification period face their families: Families are also where the evil is likely to exploit an advantage. Without righteous thoughts or not being righteous enough, it would be really difficult for practitioners to break through. If using human's notions and measures to deal with family while doing Dafa work, one would often avoid some troubles to meet with other troubles. Genuine practitioners in the Fa-rectification period should take the initiative to rectify anything that is not correct in their families. In the complex family environment, there are indeed factors for us to improve ourselves. Therefore, once there is a problem, we should first look inside and check ourselves to see if there are any problems with our xinxing. We improve ourselves in the course of eliminating the evil in other dimensions.

Get rid of the mentalities of being sick of or tending to escape from the evil, and use righteous thoughts to face the evil. I realized that the evil just utilized my attachments and the evil factors to interfere with our mind to make us generate the attachments of fearing, detesting, and tending to escape from the troubles so as to force our minds to step aside and compress our righteous fields for them to obtain space to remain alive. To truly solve the problems fundamentally we must get rid of our attachments and face the evil factors, and not be moved - just calmly deal with it. Then the evil will have no place to stay and be instantly eliminated.
