A Dafa Disciple in Yongchuan City, Chongqing, "Flew Away" from Police Custody

Oct. 13, 2003 |   By a Dafa disciple in China

(Clearwisdom.net)

On the night of July 1st, 2003, returning home after a trip to distribute truth-clarification materials in the villages, two Falun Gong practitioners from a Dafa materials site in Yongchuan city, Chongqing, were arrested on a bus by local patrol officers. These officers worked for the 1st unit of the Police Department and were on a special mission to capture and persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Under Master's protection, one of the practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts and escaped arrest.

Early in the morning of July 2nd, 2003, two other practitioners went to the residences of the two practitioners' to safely transfer the Dafa materials but were arrested by undercover police. Over the next few days, Yongchuan police arrested more than ten Dafa practitioners from their homes. The list of known practitioners included: Ms. Li Youfen, Ms. Wang Yingxia, Mr. Dai Dakui, Ms. Yao Rongxuan, Ms. Yuan Suzhen, Ms. Tang Guanghua and Xiao Ying (alias). The material center in Yongchuan City was severely damaged. Confiscated items included the equipment for producing truth-clarification materials, banners, flyers, amplifiers etc.

After raiding the material distribution center, the Yongchuan police sought credit from the Chongqing Police Department and from the "610 Office" (an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems) and also tried to extract confessions from three arrested practitioners by interrogating them with torture. On the night of July 1st, a young male practitioner was arrested. After hanging him up, police repeatedly beat him, shocked him with electric batons and burned his face with lit cigarettes. A few policemen who still had a shred of conscience left even felt the tortures carried out by these vicious officers were too violent and cruel.

However, on the night of July 2nd, the barely breathing practitioner that was tortured disappeared from the 2nd floor of the police station, while still handcuffed and under close surveillance by four policemen on duty. Police from the Yongang City searched all corners of the city and the homes of local Falun Gong practitioners in vain. According to news from inside the police station, there was a specially formed project team from the brutal "610 Office" in Chongqing City, arriving at that time to take that particular practitioner into custody. Upon learning of the disappearance of the practitioner, the team arrested the four police on duty and took them to Chongqing for a fourteen-day investigation. All four policemen couldn't figure out how the practitioner escaped so they agreed to report the same story about the disappearance, writing in their report "...after calling out, "Save me, Master!" the practitioner flew away." It was believed that officials at the "610 Office" in Chongqing city were very angry about these statements and reduced the salaries for these four policemen. Not until they locate and punish that young male practitioner who escaped under their noses, will the police on duty at the time begin to receive their normal salaries. Zhou Anhua, the police chief of Yongan City that has followed the evil head Jiang XX to persecute Falun Gong practitioners without hesitation, would had never imagined the sequence of events that were coming to haunt him. First, the Falun Gong practitioner in his custody disappeared without a trace, then on later his car was stolen and his aging mother became very ill. This is an example of immediate karmic retribution.

The story about how the policemen that severely tortured Falun Gong practitioners and other good people ended receiving their karmic retribution, including their salaries being reduced, one of them having his car stolen and his aging mother falling very ill, has been widely spread among the citizens in Yongchuan City. Originally those Yongchuan City policemen were expecting financial rewards from persecuting Falun Gong practitioners but now were rewarded with "payroll withheld and a demerit given due to negligence on duty." This is an example of how Heaven's justice manifests and immediate karmic retribution is carried out. In the meantime, more people who realized the truth of the persecution have been saved after learning the truth of the persecution.

Even though the merciless persecution by the police has caused damage to Fa-rectification work in Yongchuan city, many practitioners have validated the Fa and manifested the mighty power of the Fa and of Dafa disciples by holding firm belief in Master and in Dafa, within the persecution, while facing life or death situations. For example, a Mrs. Xu, whose husband was forced to leave home to avoid persecution, was finally captured and the police made an attempt to force her to reveal her husbands whereabouts while hanging her up and torturing her. Firmly refusing to cooperate with the police, she stared right at the police saying, "I do not know. I will not tell you even if I knew. He is my husband and a good person and I will protect him." During the severe persecution she even passed out twice. The righteous thoughts and actions of courageous practitioners have frightened the evil; the police released her later. The police testimony of a practitioner flying away from police custody has encouraged the local practitioners. In front of cruel persecution, many more practitioners have participated in exposing the evil, clarifying the truth and saving people.
