Falun Dafa practitioners, by means of a variety of activities, have revealed the truth about how the Chinese ruling party has been violating human rights and how the evil hand of the persecution of Falun Gong has extended to Taiwan. Mr. Lin Hsiaokai, a practitioner from Taiwan, was detained a few days ago in Shanghai when he went to visit a friend. Four Chinese women married to Taiwanese men were arrested after they returned to China for a visit.

Police in Harbin City Women's Prison brutally torture Falun Dafa practitioners. The torture methods are many and include locking practitioners in isolation cells, handcuffing their hands behind their back 24 hours a day, hanging practitioners up by ropes without allowing their feet to touch the floor, whipping them with plastic tubes and other cruel beatings, and hanging practitioners up by the feet. Falun Dafa practitioner Guo Songmei was held in isolation for a whole month, resulting in severe emaciation. The doctor found that she had tuberculosis and transferred her to the hospital care area. After one month of treatment, the police let her out on bail for further medical treatment. Ms. Guo died on April 8, 2003.

Police from Zhangduangu Town, Wuji County, Hebei Province abducted Falun Dafa practitioner Geng Yiqing on October 16, 2003. They sent him to the County Police Station and then transferred him to Shijiazhuang City (address to be announced). He has two sons; the youngest is less than one year old.

Mr. Zhang lives in a mountain village in Heilongjiang Province. He had a stroke in 1997 that left him paralyzed. His wife had to tend the fields with her two young sons. All their family income was used for paying his medical expenses. One of his relatives came to visit him and told him about the benefits of Falun Dafa. Mr. Zhang immediately bought two Falun Dafa books. He would do the exercises as often as he could. Only two weeks later, he went out to harvest the rice. People all said: "Falun Dafa is wonderful!" His wife, two sons and many villagers started to study Falun Dafa upon seeing how he was healed. When the evil police came and tried to search his home in 1999, the secretary of his village said to them, "Don't you know that he almost died. He only started to practice Falun Gong a couple of weeks ago and the condition is already cured. He can even work in the fields now. He did not do anything bad. Why you want to arrest him?" The police had no response and left. Mr. Zhang is now clarifying the truth with his wife. They have covered many miles in their area.
