(Clearwisdom.net) Wang Shuchun, Deputy Secretary of the Political and Security Committee in Taishan District, Taian City, Shandong Province is also head of the "610 Office."* This individual has willingly followed Jiang's criminal group to persecute Falun Gong since July 20, 1999. Good is rewarded with good and evil is met by evil, the ancient saying goes. In October 2003, Wang Shuchun had one of his cancerous kidneys removed. We hope that Wang will wake up and learn a lesson from this. Listed below are the crimes he has committed, ordered, or instigated:

1. Illegally arresting and beating Falun Gong practitioners: Under Wang Shuchun's direction, police broke into Falun Gong practitioners' homes and work units, hid at train stations and residential areas, and arrested Dafa practitioners. They abused practitioners by hitting, kicking, beating them with batons, and attacking them in other ways.
2. Illegally searching homes, confiscating, and fining: The police in Taian City searched practitioners' homes at will, confiscated their personal belongings including bicycles, motor cycles, gold rings, gold necklaces, watches, computers, televisions, cassette players, video players, DVDs, cash, and Dafa books. According to insiders in the police department, the ownership of some of this confiscated property was transferred to the policemen themselves. Under Wang's orders, the police "fined" the illegally arrested Dafa practitioners. Those who were forcibly abducted into a brainwashing class were fined 150 to 1,000 Yuan** per day. Some practitioners were fined over 7,000 Yuan during just one session of the brainwashing class. Some became homeless and destitute; others were forced to be separated from their families. Wang Shuchun and his followers used this money for themselves, for dining and entertainment, and also distributed some of the money as bonuses.
3. Illegally suspending practitioners' jobs and salaries. Some Dafa practitioners were laid off from their jobs, and some were suspended from their jobs and their salaries were discontinued. Those whose jobs were maintained were only paid enough to cover basic living expenses, while some were not paid even a penny. This has caused tremendous difficulties in practitioners' lives.
4. Illegally monitoring and tracing: Since July 20, 1999, Wang compelled his underlings to monitor and tape practitioners' communication devices. Day and night, at any time, they broke into practitioners' homes to search. Sometimes they even stayed for several days, which severely disrupted the practitioners' daily lives.
5. Illegal detention: The police detained Dafa practitioners and locked them in detention centers. Some practitioners were brutally beaten by criminals who did so because the police incited them.
6. Illegally sentencing practitioners and sending them to labor camps: The police abducted practitioners and transported them to labor camps. Once there, the enforcers ordered guards and hoodlums to brutally torture practitioners. Many practitioners who were illegally sent to labor camps have suffered electric baton shocks. They had black and blue marks all over their bodies. Some practitioners became comatose from lengthy sleep deprivation. Some practitioners' bones were broken and their skin and muscles were bruised. This occurred from being forced to sit on hard stools, day after day. Some were cuffed on a torture device called the "dead person's bed"** for more than a week and could not turn over or sit. Some were beaten into a coma. Some were cuffed and hung up from bunk beds or window frames, with only toes touching the floor. The criminals then tortured them by heavily pressing their ribs and sensitive acupuncture points, which caused excruciating pain. Those practitioners who protested with hunger strikes were force-fed. The police force-fed them with concentrated saline solution and added drugs that would destroy one's central nervous system. In the meantime, no matter whether one was young or old, practitioners were forced to do heavy manual labor for long periods. Many practitioners were sick and had scabies, a result of the barbarous conditions and cruel torture methods. Their health quickly deteriorated. Wang Shuchun was the one who ordered police to illegally sentence practitioners who had clarified the truth and send them to prison.
7. Illegally putting practitioners into mental hospitals: Some Dafa practitioners were put into mental hospitals, even though they were very clear-headed, to undergo the so-called "forceful treatment" and to have drugs forcibly administered.
8. Distorting the kind nature of human beings and making people commit crimes due to ignorance. For the purpose of greed and personal gain, Wang Shuchun incited his subordinates to exert all their efforts to persecute Falun Gong. Many kind policemen and heads of different organizations were forced to participate in this crackdown of innocent Falun Gong practitioners; out of ignorance, misunderstanding, and because of Wang's insistence, these people committed horrible crimes. Wang Shuchun also ordered various organizations and street administration offices to run a propaganda campaign to defame Falun Gong. Additionally, he conspired to get people from all walks of life, including students, to sign petitions against Dafa. This has deceived many kind people and caused them to hate Dafa and Dafa practitioners. Some of those people then subsequently monitored and reported Dafa practitioners, and others tore up Dafa truth-clarifying materials.

Over the past four years, out of loyalty to Jiang, Wang Shuchun has carried out Jiang's genocide policy of "ruin Falun Gong practitioners' reputations, bankrupt them financially, and destroy them physically." With Wang's plotting and conniving, with his instructions and direct participation, hundreds of practitioners were monitored, abducted, and detained. Over a dozen Dafa practitioners were sent to labor camps, two were sentenced, numerous practitioners were fined, and their homes were searched.

Another perpetrator is Meng Xiuqin, secretary of the Political and Security Committee in Taishan District.

We hope that all those who have participated in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners will forsake evil and turn to kindness. If you have ever hated Dafa, have ever destroyed Dafa truth-clarifying materials, or ever reported Falun Gong practitioners because of your ignorance, please learn the truth as soon as possible and change your attitude toward Dafa before it is too late.

*The 610 Office is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political or judicial systems.

** Yuan is the Chinese currency. The average monthly salary of an urban worker in China is 500 Yuan.

*** The four limbs of the practitioner are stretched out and tied to the four corners of an icy-cold metal bed. The practitioner cannot move at all. Neither is he allowed to get up to eat, drink, or use the bathroom. This treatment lasts from several hours up to more than a dozen days. This type of cruel torture causes severe damage to the practitioner both mentally and physically.
