(Clearwisdom.net) Since July 20^th, 1999, we have been continuously reading from Clearwisdom.net the facts of how Hebei Province's Shijiazhuang City Fertilizer Factory No. 4 Residential District Administrative Committee persecutes Falun Gong practitioners. According to incomplete statistics, in this small residential district alone, three Dafa practitioners were illegally sentenced to prison; one was sent to forced labor camp twice; one was subject to forced labor but was not sent because of poor health; five were persecuted to the point that they had to leave their homes to avoid arrest and are now homeless, and more than 30 persons were illegally detained. Here is the summary:

1. In October 1999, Dang Lanfeng (female, in her 50's, retired employee of that factory) was detained for going to appeal in Beijing, and held in the Xinle County Detention Center.
2. In November 1999, Wang Xiaoying (female, in her 50's, retired employee), Cao Zengfen (female, in her 50's, employee, now laid off), Geng Shuqin (female, in her 40's, employee, now laid off), Meng Zhaowen (male, in his 40's, employee), Hu Mingzhi (male, in his 40's, relative of an employee), Hao Xiuqin (female, in her 50s, relative of an employee), Sun Qingjun (female, in her 20's, employee, now laid off), Wang Hua (female, in her 20's, relative of an employee), Hu Yachan (female, in her 20's, relative of an employee) were detained for 15 days in Dongfeng Street Police Station for going to Beijing to appeal.
3. In November 1999, Dang Lanfeng was sentenced to a labor camp for three years.
4. Before the Chinese New Year of 2000, Meng Zhaowen and Hu Mingzhi were detained in Lingshou County Detention Center. Hu Mingzhi was released one month later. Meng Zhaowen was sentenced to five years in prison after being detained for one year. He is serving his terms outside prison.
5. In the Chinese New Year of 2000, Hao Xiuqin was detained for almost one month for practicing Dafa exercises in public.
6. In May 2000, Cao Zengfen and Hao Xiuqin were detained in Xinle County Detention Center and Lingshou County Detention Center respectively. One year later, they were both sentenced to five years and detained in Mancheng Jail in Hebei Province.
7. In May 2000, Wang Xiaoying, Li Xiuwen (female, in her 50's, relative of an employee), Hu Yachan, Wang Hua, and Sun Qingjun were detained in the Shengli Beijie Administration Office for one day.
8. In July 2000, Hu Mingzhi, Wang Xiaoying, Sun Qingjun, Wang Hua, Hu Yachan, Ren Yanfang (female, in her 30's, relative of an employee), and Ren Yanzhi (female, in her 30's, relative of an employee) were detained in Yitang Inn brainwashing Center for more than 10 days. They were not released until officials extorted from them more than 200 Yuan as a boarding fee. [average monthly income for an urban worker is 500 Yuan]
9. In October 2000, Geng Shuqin was forced to leave home to avoid arrest and is now homeless, and wanted by the police. Ma Shuqin (female, in her 60's, formerly chief of this residential district administrative committee, now has been laid off) was detained in Shijiazhuang City Detention Center for one month. Li Guizhi (female, in her 50's, relative of an employee) was detained several days.
10. In November 2000, after being released Dang Lanfeng was forced to leave her home to avoid further harassment and arrest and is now homeless.
11. Before the Chinese New Year of 2000, Ren Yanfang, Ren Yanzhi, Hu Mingzhi, Sun Qingjun, Wang Hua and Wang Xiaoying were detained in Dongfeng Street Detention Center, Shengli Beijie Administration Office and other places. The longest detention period was as long as two months. They were not released until they paid 1000 or 2000 Yuan.
12. In August 2001, Geng Shuqin and Dang Lanfeng were arrested and detained in Shengli Beijie Police Station. Three months later, they were sent to a labor camp. It was the second time for Dang Lanfeng to be sent to the forced labor camp, and she is detained in the fifth division. They did not send Geng Shuqin to the forced labor camp because she had been persecuted so harshly that she had serious health problems.
13. In August 2001, Wang Hua and Wang Zhubao (male, in his 50's, relative of an employee) were forced into homelessness for more than three months.
14. In December 2001, Sun Qingjun was forced to leave home to avoid arrest and is still homeless today.
15. In June 2002, Zhou Junxin (male, in his 40's, employee) was illegally detained in the detention center and was released after paying extortion money.
16. In June 2002, Wang Hua and Wang Zhubao were forced to be homeless again and are to this day. Wang Zhubao was fined 5000 Yuan.
17. On about April 4, 2003, Hu Mingzhi was besieged by the police at home. Later he was forced to flee and is now homeless.

This residential district administrative committee actively "reports" to its superiors about the situation of Falun Gong practitioners: tracing, monitoring Falun Gong practitioners' daily lives, collecting personal information about Falun Gong practitioners, and secretly reporting to the "610 Office" about Falun Gong practitioners, leading to innocent people being arrested, sentenced and put into labor camps.
