Zhang Yinghui has been illegally detained many times. In August 2000, she was sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for a one-year term. After her release, the police kept harassing her and arrested her again. After that, she had to leave her home and became destitute and homeless in order to avoid illegal detention again. In March 2003, she was arrested once again while distributing truth-clarifying materials. Currently, she has been sentenced to a three-year term in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.

Led by policeman Duan Guoqing, the "610 Office" staff in Changyi City illegally arrested seven Falun Dafa practitioners in Taibaozhuang Township on April 16th. Among them, three were detained for half a month, three were kept in the detention house for 32 days, and one was forcibly brainwashed for nearly two months, with an extortion of 7000 yuan [equal to a year's average income of an ordinary worker in China] On June 13, Duan Guoqing together with the "610 Office" clerks from both Weifang City and Changyi City, illegally arrested three Falun Dafa practitioners in Taibaozhuang Township once again. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] The "610 Office" Intensifies Persecution of Falun Dafa Practitioners
By the end of May 2003, the "610 system" in Deyang City held a citywide meeting in an attempt to start a new round of persecution of local Falun Dafa practitioners. All mines, plants and work units where there are Falun Dafa practitioners were required to send their cadres who conduct brainwashing sessions (full-time and part-time) to attend the meeting. The municipal "610 Office" issued a document as well, indicating that Falun Gong practitioners who don't renounce their belief all be laid off in stages, I also stated that whoever makes a Falun Gong practitioner give up cultivation practice will be awarded 3000 yuan with a special monthly achievement award of 200 to 300 yuan. At the meeting, Li Chengjin, director of the Deyang Economics & Trade Committee (in charge of the brainwashing work) signed the so-called "transformation responsibility contract" with the cadres from each work unit. This document stated that all Falun Gong practitioners should be contracted and "transformed" by January 2005.
Recently, it is has been said that a brainwashing class will be held to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners in Deyang area.
It has been learned that a brainwashing class had been held at the Dongshan Xuanzhuhu in Deyang City and that a display slandering Falun Dafa has been held for a long time inside Nanchunyuan at Bajiao, targeting innocent students.

Around 8:30 pm on May 13, four beautiful shining big Faluns emerged in the sky near Zashan Town, Changyi Mount, Weifang City, Shandong Province. The four Faluns kept turning around and changing their colors, moving from the southwest to the northeast. The manifestation lasted for about half an hour.
