Several Cases of Evildoers Receiving Karmic Retribution for Mistreating Practitioners

Oct. 21, 2004

(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of Karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will invite due retribution. Articles such as this are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their courses of wrongdoing may they escape karmic retribution.

Policeman in Tongcheng County, Hubei Province, Dies of Illness

He Kexiao, around 50, worked for the Tongcheng Country Public Security Bureau. Formerly he was the superintendent of the Junshui Police Station in Tongcheng County. Since the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, he closely followed Jiang's directives to harass practitioners. He refused to listen to or believe the compassionate advice of Falun Gong practitioners. Even on New Year's Eve he still went to ransack practitioners' houses and confiscate their property. In 2002, He Kexiao died suddenly of cancer.

Zhao Yulong, Principal of Yongchuan Middle School in Chongqing City, Dies

In 2002 Zhao Yulong, the principal of Yongchuan Middle School in Chongqing City, followed orders from the Education Department to launch a campaign in his school to slander Falun Gong. All teachers and students were ordered to sign their names agreeing to oppose Falun Gong. In the summer of 2002, on his way back to his office from a meeting, he was stabbed by a school staff member who had mental problems. Zhao died shortly afterwards.

Wan Youyi, Former Superintendent of Wuxing Police Station in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, Receives Karmic Retribution

Wan Youyi, a former superintendent of Wuxing Police Station, has followed Jiang's regime's orders and persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners since 1999. Because of him, many practitioners had their houses ransacked, their property confiscated and their families torn apart. Many practitioners were thrown into prisons or detention centers. In 2001, a brainwashing class was held in his jurisdiction, and he spared no efforts to persecute practitioners. Not long after, bad things started to happen to him one by one. Both of his parents died within a month, and his wife divorced him. The local people all said that he was receiving karmic retribution because of his persecution of practitioners.

Another policeman, Xiong Guoliang, also followed Wan Youyi in persecuting practitioners. In 2001, he was sentenced to Nanchang County Prison on charges of breaking the law.

Sun Shuwen, Former Director General of Lalin Police Branch Office in Wuchang City, Heilongjiang Province, Receives Karmic Retribution

Sun Shuwen was the former director general of the Lalin Police Branch Office. Before he took the post, the branch office had a debt of 100 thousand yuan. After he came to power, he promised to get the money to pay the debt from Falun Gong practitioners. Under his direction, many Falun Dafa practitioners were arrested. If they didn't pay fines ranging from 3,000 to 5,000 yuan, they would be sent to labor camps or prisons. Shortly after the practitioners were released, however, they would be illegally arrested again and asked to pay another fine. While investigating a case this year, Sun Shuwen was injured by the people he was investigating. After that, it was discovered that he had set up private gambling places. As a result, he was suspended and is now under investigation.
