(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of December 23, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioners in Malaysia held a press conference to talk about the activities of Malaysian Falun Gong practitioners. Torture reenactments during the press conference exposed the Jiang regime's cruel tortures, and reporters at the site were shocked by the brutality of the persecution.

Recently, the Malaysian media reported that the Malaysian Ministry of Domestic Trade & Consumer Affairs stated that if the Falun Dafa Association (a legally registered organization) violates the law, the government will withdraw the organization's legal registration. This statement was based on the Ministry of Domestic Trade & Consumer Affairs receiving a complaint letter from the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia accusing the Falun Dafa Association of being a "Base of anti-China activity."

At the press conference, Falun Gong practitioners clarified that their activities are all legal, and stated that their purpose is to introduce the beauty of Falun Dafa to people, and make people aware of the brutal persecution occurring in China. All activities conform to Malaysian law. The practitioners also played a video showing the activities they have organized, such as a decorated float parade, a national day parade, and a dragon boat race.

A Falun Dafa practitioner also refuted the "Anti-China" accusation. "The Falun Dafa Association solemnly states that Falun Gong practitioners have not used the Falun Dafa Association as an organization to oppose the Chinese government. The information Falun Gong practitioners distribute is to introduce Falun Gong and clarify the facts about the persecution in China. Our information is based on truth, human rights, and justice, and it calls for an end to the persecution."

The practitioners also used an anti-torture exhibition to expose the brutality of the persecution in China. One reporter asked, "Is this happening in China now?" Another reporter asked, "Are these (tortures) really happening in China?" The media attending the press conference learned the truth that the Malaysian Falun Gong practitioners' Dafa promotion activities are all legal.
