(Clearwisdom.net) This is a story of a Falun Dafa practitioner's husband. The wife started practicing in 1995. Her husband is friendly businessman who is self-employed. He is not a practitioner. His wife often tells him that one should have a righteous heart when doing business; otherwise he might harm both others and himself.

One time, he suffered a big loss in his business. His wife asked him what happened. He told her that he had mixed less water into what he sold, which ended up with his customers receiving inferior goods. His wife told him the consequence of good and evil and asked him to make up for other peoples' loss as soon as possible. Later, whenever he met with any loss without reason, his wife just told him to see if he had any strong attachment to personal gain. Did he serve defective goods? Sometimes he acquiesced; sometimes he also felt puzzled and asked his wife, "I do not practice Falun Dafa. Why does your Teacher also take care for me?" His wife said, "It is the course of nature. You encountered retribution, which is a compassionate warning that shows you can still be saved." He only half-heartedly believed what she told him.

After the persecution of Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999, his wife met with strong pressure from her parents to give up practicing. He also tried to stop her from practicing along with her parents. His wife just clarified the truth to him and gave him the truth materials to read. He refused it all. However, he never said an irreverent word about Teacher or Dafa. When his wife clarified the truth to others, he just listened.

One evening, he came home much later than usual. He kneeled down in front of Teacher's picture and made three kowtows to Teacher in succession as soon as he entered the home, which amazed his wife. She asked him what happened and found out that he had been in a car accident on the highway. His car hit a big tree on the roadside with a speed limit of 100 km per hour. He flew out of the car through the windshield and landed about 4 meters away, but he was not hurt a bit and did not even have a scratch! All the people at the site of the accident were astonished. An old couple looked him over and asked him, "Young fellow, someone worships Buddha at your home, right?" This awakened him. He rushed home to kowtow to Teacher.

Since then, he respects Dafa and Teacher much more.
