Feng Jitang and Wu Hongxia Cruelly Torture Practitioners in Tianshui City, Gansu Province

Aug. 24, 2004

(Clearwisdom.net) Over the last month, Feng Jitang (male) led the State Security group of the Beidao Police Station in Tianshui City, Gansu Province to arrest Falun Dafa practitioners anywhere they can be found. According to inside sources, plainclothes police have been covertly monitoring practitioners in the dark of night, then secretly arresting them.

As soon as they hear that someone still practices Falun Gong, they immediately arrest them. If family members inquire about arrested practitioners, the authorities answer that they are too busy and cannot arrange visitations. We heard that each arrested practitioner held in brainwashing classes is required to a) betray three fellow practitioners, b) write a Statement of Dissociation (1), and c) pay 3,000 yuan (2) before they can be released.

Feng Jitang and Wu Hongxia (Feng's assistant) have been ardent followers of Jiang and his regime since July 20, 1999. They torture Falun Dafa practitioners by various means, including shackling, suspending in mid-air, beatings and other brutal methods. At least 30 practitioners have been turned in and sent to labor camps by them personally. They beat practitioners, even senior citizens, pre-teens and the physically disabled. Practitioner Ms. Zhang Jinmei was beaten by Wu Hongxia until her arm was fractured.
