AP Reports on Taiwanese Falun Gong Practitioners' "Great Wall of Justice" (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) About 3,000 Falun Gong practitioners formed a "Great Wall of Justice" 4 miles long on Saturday in downtown Taipei to protest the Chinese government's persecution against Falun Gong. Chang Ching-his, Chairperson of the Taiwan Falun Dafa Association, said that at least 1,247 Falun Gong practitioners have been killed in Mainland as of January 2, 2005.

Falun Gong Practitioner in Taiwan Formed "Great Wall of Justice" to Protest Persecution

A report from AP on January 8 said that about 3,000 Falun Gong practitioners dressed in yellow and blue tracksuits formed a human chain 4 miles long through Taipei on Saturday to protest persecution of their fellow practitioners in China.

The report said that practitioners call the event as "Great Wall of Justice." Practitioners showed pictures of victims of the persecution. Chang Ching-hsi, chairman of Taiwan Falun Dafa Association, said at least 1,247 followers have been killed since Beijing outlawed Falun Gong.

Professor Chang said : "The scary thing is that none of those people showed violent behavior and yet they still suffered repression by the state."

Lawyer Chu Wan-chi said that Lawyers working for Falun Gong practitioners have started legal action against former Chinese President Jiang Zemin and other Chinese leaders in 28 countries.
