(Clearwisdom.net) Over the past five years, Falun Dafa practitioners have been continuously clarifying the facts and exposing the evil nature of the persecution. As a result, more and more people have come to realize that Falun Gong has been treated unjustly, and Falun Gong is in fact good. The increasing number of lawsuits filed against the main perpetrators of the persecution has greatly shocked those who have participated in the persecution. At the same time, the facts about Falun Gong have spread through various channels in China, and there are many reports from all parts of the country showing that people who have treated Falun Dafa kindly are being rewarded and those who have persecuted Falun Dafa are meeting with karmic retribution. All of the above have resulted in the awakening of those who have participated in the persecution. These people now know that Falun Dafa is good, and they also know they have committed sins and no longer wish to continue doing bad deeds.

Regardless of the intention, it is a good thing that a person stops doing bad deeds against Falun Dafa. However, those who have participated in the persecution must truly take every opportunity to make up for the sins they have committed in order to redeem themselves for the sake of their future.

For over five years, Jiang's regime has had control of the state-run media. They have fabricated many lies to defame Falun Gong and to incite hatred against Falun Gong among the general public. The communist party also forced every level of the government to participate in the persecution of Falun Gong through various means. This has caused enormous harm to practitioners and their families physically, mentally, and financially. With such a large number of police officers and officials ranging from central to local governments involved in activities that openly trample the Constitution and laws of China, the results are instability in Chinese society and the decline of people's moral standards.

Participating in the persecution of Falun Gong is to collaborate with the evil. Some people use the excuse that they are just following orders from their superiors in order to keep their jobs, but in fact they are helping a tyrant to do evil. Thus, many practitioners are unable to return home and their families are being torn apart. Furthermore, many practitioners' family members, friends, colleagues, and neighbors are implicated. The participants of the persecution have committed crimes against humanity, in addition to violating the laws of China. No matter how you look at it, these people will have no future but to face the punishment of the law. In addition, they will pay for their sins through suffering. Once these people understand the truth, they must redeem themselves with actions. In order to have a future, they must immediately stop all the activities that directly or indirectly harm Falun Gong. At the same time, they must make best use of the time to do good deeds and redeem their futures with kind hearts and kind actions.

How can they do this, specifically?

In summary, one should make the best use of one's time to make up for mistakes. If a person did a stupid, immoral thing because of not knowing the truth in the past, he or she needs to wake up to the truth. One must stand by justice rationally when faced with major issues of right or wrong. One must believe good will be rewarded and evil will meet its karmic retribution. One must persevere no matter how much pressure there is. In fact, the persecution inside China can hardly be sustained. The whole world is paying close attention to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. There are 47 lawsuits filed against Jiang and his followers in 28 countries. Jiang and his followers will be brought to justice in China. It is only a matter of time.

The following are stories of redemption.

Example 1: Head of a police station assists Falun Dafa practitioner

(http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2004/8/30/51885.html) In early July 2004, the head of a township police station in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province received an order to arrest a Falun Dafa practitioner who had previously talked to him and his family many times about the facts of Falun Gong. When he received the order, he said, "He is not home; there is no one to arrest." Then he notified the practitioner and told him, "Please be careful when you go out." He thus effectively protected the practitioner.

Example 2: Director of a police department: "I am on duty today; you go ahead and keep doing the exercises!"

A female practitioner from Jilin Province was doing Falun Gong exercises on the bank of a river. Halfway through the exercises, she noticed that many police officers were standing around her and there were four police vehicles parked nearby. She did not panic, but continued to do the exercises calmly while sending forth righteous thoughts. At that moment, the leader of the police said to her, "Do you know who I am? I am the director of the police department." This practitioner said to the director, "Jiang Zemin has stepped down from his posts, yet you are still willing to carry out evil deeds for him!" "Who works for him? Nobody did even when he was holding those posts!" said the director. The director said to the practitioner, "I am on duty today; you go ahead and keep doing the exercises!" Then he left with all the police officers.

Example 3: A political science teacher rewrites a standard school test that slandered Falun Dafa

During the class he heard the facts about Falun Dafa from another teacher who is a Dafa practitioner. This cleared away the poison in his mind caused by the lies he had heard, and he developed a correct understanding of Falun Dafa and Dafa practitioners. During the mid-term examination, all of the examination papers were supplied to the school from outside. He opened the examination papers and found a multiple-choice question slandering Falun Dafa. Although it only counted for a few points, the problem was serious because it would poison the minds of the students if it were distributed to them. Right away this teacher re-wrote a set of questions and printed the examination papers personally. Then he distributed the new exam to the students and destroyed the original examination papers.

Example 4: A village government official scolds a person who tried to turn in Falun Dafa practitioners to the authorities

They established a Falun Dafa study group for people in the vicinity. Someone reported this development to a village official. The official, who already knew the truth about Falun Gong, immediately reprimanded the person, "Practicing Falun Gong has nothing to do with you. Why turn them in!"

Example 5: A village government official releases abducted Falun Gong practitioners

A village official from Jingzhou City, Hubei Province protects Falun Gong practitioners after learning the truth about Falun Gong. One night, the village watchmen caught two Falun Gong practitioners posting flyers. The next day, this official had the practitioners released after he found out about it. He told one of the practitioners, "I have read Zhuan Falun before. The book teaches people to be good from the beginning to the end. I often read the posters and flyers Falun Gong practitioners post on lamp poles and walls. Sometime, they even post them on my car. I tell them silently in my heart, 'You guys go ahead. Don't be afraid, I won't arrest you.' I understand that you are doing it to tell people Falun Dafa is good. You must do well so people will know the truth. Everyone should practice it and become a good person."

Example 6: Head of a political and security section protects Falun Gong practitioners after understanding the truth

In one city in the Northeast region of China, Falun Dafa practitioners clarified the truth about Falun Gong to the head of the political and security section of the city government on multiple occasions. Afterwards, he started to think about why the Jiang regime would exert all its power to suppress a group of practitioners who would not fight back when beaten and would not talk back when being insulted. So he found a copy of Zhuan Falun and read it carefully. Once he understood the truth, he knew that everything the practitioners were doing was for others. His conscience was awakened. In 2002, he was sent to Beijing to pick up over twenty Falun Gong practitioners who went to appeal to stop the persecution. He picked up the practitioners from a police station in Tiananmen Square and took them to a spot where no one could see. He told them, "I did not understand you. I thought you were just like common criminals before and I persecuted you. When I finished the book Zhuan Falun, I knew that you were good people. I have committed crimes against you in the past. I am going to redeem my criminal acts with good deeds!" Then he released all the practitioners.

Sometime after he returned, he was transferred to another police station, but he still secretly protected Falun Gong practitioners and passed information to practitioners. Many local practitioners avoided the persecution because of him. Later, he returned to his original post and continued to be the section head of the city's political and security section.

Example 7: A policeman from Dalian City: I also want to be Master Li's disciple

(http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2004/8/29/51861.html) During the ransacking of an older female Falun Gong practitioner's home, a police officer from the Development District Branch of Dalian City Police Department witnessed many police officers stuffing things into their own pockets while searching for "evidence." It's all because the woman practiced Falun Gong and made banners that said, "Falun Dafa is Good!" She was detained at the police station for four days, and then sent to Yaojia Detention Center. She was later sentenced to three years in prison and sent to Masanja Forced Labor Camp. This policeman felt bad and asked himself, "Am I helping people or hurting them? Am I the people's policeman or am I a robber and a bandit?"

From his contacts with Falun Gong practitioners, this officer learned a lot about Falun Gong. He now knows that Falun Dafa is good and that Jiang Zemin has been lying to people, and he uses his power and the national propaganda machine to lie to the Chinese people.

Later, this officer read many Falun Dafa books and began to understand many things. He regretted what he did. Through the Minghui website (the Chinese version of Clearwisdom website), he expressed his highest respects to Teacher, and swore that he would never do anything bad to Falun Dafa again. From the bottom of his heart, he treated himself as Teacher's disciple, and he started to read Teacher's books and strive to be a good person.

He also warned his fellow police officers: "Please put down the electric batons, carefully read Falun Dafa books, and stop committing any further bad deeds. Otherwise, you might well be digging your own graves. While Jiang does not leave any room for repentance for himself, we must do so. For the sake of our families and ourselves, please stop the crimes! Given the ever-increasing natural and man-made calamities within our police community, please think it over before committing any bad deeds!"
