(Clearwisdom.net) The Yongchuan Women's prison officials established a special bureau named the "Legal Research Office." There the Communist regime persecutes Dafa practitioners, and attempts to deceive them so they will have wrong understandings. The labor camp forces Dafa practitioners to undergo daily brainwashing, read books and magazines that slander Falun Dafa, and forces Dafa practitioners to take unknown drugs. The prison doctor said some Data practitioners had high blood pressure and forced them to take drugs three times each day until they were released.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Xiao Hongxiu, 65 years old, was from Liangping County's Qiqiao Town in Chongqing City. She was tortured to death on July 25, 2004.

Dafa practitioner Ms. Liu Fanqing was hung up in handcuffs at the Dadukou District Detention Center. The pain was excruciating and maimed both of her hands, leaving her unable to take care of herself. She was sentenced to nine years of forced labor in spite of a prison law that states "No admission of disabled persons who cannot take care of themselves." They accepted Ms. Liu Fanqin on August 4, 2005. Ms. Liu Fanqin is unable to take care of her own daily basic needs, such as washing her face, combing her hair and eating. She has to depend on help from fellow practitioners.

The day Dafa practitioner Ms. Jin Wei entered the prison, she didn't report when she passed the entrance. She was tortured for over one week. The guards deprived her of sleep, day and night, and additionally punished her by having to stand continuously.

Ms. Yang Xiaoli was from the Southwest Normal University. The police meted out punishment by making her clean up the restroom, and squat continuously for two days and two nights without any sleep. Those assigned to "reform" her brutally beat her, threaten and verbally abused her, and then locked her in solitary confinement. The police tied her thumbs to a metal bed for over two hours. Her arms had blue and dark bruises for a long time. Her legs and feet also showed signs of swelling.

Following is a partial list of Falun Gong practitioners who had been or are still detained in the Chongqing Yongchuan Women's Prison:

• Ms. Huang Xueming, female, 60s years old. Detained from 2000 to 2003.
• Ms. Liao Wentao, female, 20s years old, released on December 2004 (Sentenced to seven years, but her sentence was reduced two years).
• Ms. Su Jianqiu, female, 30s years old, in 2003 was sentenced nine years.
• Ms. He Suqun, female, 30s years old, was a staff member at the eighteenth metallurgy factory. She was released in December 2004.
• Ms. Zhou Bijun, female, 30s years old, was from the Changshou District. She was sentenced for four years and released on October 2004.
• Ms. Peng Xiangju, female, 40s years old, was from Yongchuan City. She was sentenced to three years and recently released.
• Ms. Zeng Lan, female, 30s years old, was from Yongchuan. She has been released.
• Ms. He Xiurong, female, was from Yubei District and Lianglu Townhouse. She has been released.
• Ms. He Hong, female, 50s years old, Yuzhong District Oral Cavity Hospital. She was sentenced to three years and released in April 2004.
• Ms. Zhong Xia, female, 42 years old, was from Pengshui County. She was sentenced to four years and released on July 2004.
• Ms. Xu Kaihua, female, 40s years old, was from Kai County. She was a designer. She was sentenced to four years and released on January 2004.
• Ms. Liu Bijing, female, 40s years old, was from the Nantong Mineral District. She was sentenced to eight years.
• Ms. Liu Lihong, female, 40s years old, was sentenced to seven years.
• Ms. Shi Guangbi, female, 50s years old, was from the Wangjiang factory on the north bank of the river. She was sentenced for four and half years and released on May 30, 2004.
• Ms. Guo Li, female, 33 years old, was from the Banan District Yudongyiwanshui. She was sentenced for four years and released after she went on a hunger strike from April to December 2003.
• Ms. Hu Dazhen, female, 50s years old, was from the Banan District Lijiatuo. She was sentenced for four years and bailed out for medical treatment on June 2004.
• Ms. Xu Jinglian, female, 40s years old, was from the Banan District Yudong Township. She was sentenced to seven years.
• Ms. Qin Li, female, 40s years old, was from Rongchang. She was sentenced to six years.
• Ms. Ren Min, female, 20s years old, was from the Jiangbei Tianyuan Chemistry Plant. She has been released
• Ms. Tan Fenghao, female, 20s years old, was a college student. She was sentenced to four years. She has been released.
• Ms. Wang Yan, female, 20s years old, was a college student. She was sentenced to four years. She has been released.
• Ms. Jiang Hong, female, 30s years old, was from Jiangjin City. She was sentenced to three and half years. She has been released.
• Ms. Huang Shunrong, female, 50s years old, was from Jiangjin City. She was sentenced to three and half years. She has been released.
• Ms. Wang Changyin, female, was from Jiangjin City. She was sentenced to three years. She has been released.
• Ms. Chen Xianhui, female, 50s years old, was from Jiangjin City. She was sentenced to four years. Released.
• Ms. Tang Xiaoyi, female, 40s years old, was from Jiangbei Dashiba City. The torture disabled her. She has been released.
• Ms. Wang Lan, female, was from the Jiangbei District. She was in her 40s and sentenced to seven years.
• Ms. Xiang Yanxin, female, 50s years old, was from Liangping County. She was sentenced to four years. She has been released.
• Ms. Yin Qingxiu, female, 40s years old, was from the Shapingba district. She was sentenced to four years. She has been released.
• Ms. Luo Fulian, female, 30s years old, was from the Shapingba District. She was sentenced to four years. She has been released.
• Ms. Cao Mingfang, female, 40s years old, is still detained.
• Ms. Luo Daoying, female, 30s years old, was from Rongchang County. She was sentenced to six years.
• Ms. Xu Rongfang, female, 50s years old, was from Yuzhong District Chuqimen. In 2001, she was sentenced to eight years.
• Ms. Liang Guangwei, female, 30s years old, was from Jiangjin. She was sentenced to five years. She has been released.
• Ms. Li Xiuying, female, 52 years old, was from Chongqing. She was sentenced to four years and currently out on bail out for medical treatment at a hospital.
• Ms. Zhang Siyu, female, 62 years old, was from Changshou. She was sentenced for five years. She has been released.
• Ms. Zhou Qunying, 30 years old, was from Hechuan. On December 28, 2001, she was arrested and taken to the Yongchuan Women's Jail. She was handcuffed and threatened with electric batons. The police instigated the inmates to beat her, scolded her, punished and abused her. They used stinky socks to block her mouth when they abused her. They told her what they wanted was for her to be unable to plead to live or to die.
• Ms. Zhou Xuxia, female, was from the Chongqing South Bank District. She was detained in a separate cell for more than twenty days. She was not allowed to take a bath and those who were assigned to convert her scolded her at will.
• Ms. Xiong Yuzhen, female, 49 years old, was a staff member of the Changan Plant. When she went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong, they badly damaged her lung. Later she was detained in the labor camp, and then transferred to the Yongchuan Jail.
• Ms. Xiao Hongxiu, 65 years old, was from Chongqing Liangping County Qiqiao Township. She was tortured to death on July 25, 2004.
• Ms. Li Jifeng, was from Chongqing Beipei District. She was sentenced to eight years on December 2002. Her family had visited her briefly and said she was persecuted so much that she was just skin and bones.
• Ms. Gao Yunxia, female, 40 years old, was from the Changshou District. She was sentenced to five years. She had suffered persecution for long time at the Yongchuan Women's Jail. The police didn't allow Ms. Gao Yunxia to eat, drink or even go to restroom for long time.
