After Learning the Truth, Policeman Stops Persecuting Practitioners and Tells Others the Facts

March 24, 2005

A policeman in northeast China who is in charge of persecuting Falun Gong was severely persecuting practitioners. For example, he directed others to brutally beat a 60-year-old practitioner, withheld food from the practitioner for many days, and even stated, "It's on him if the practitioner is beaten to death."

For the past two years, practitioners have continuously clarified the truth to the public, improving the general atmosphere. Recently, this policeman came to another practitioner's home and tried to force her to renounce her practice. While sending forth righteous thoughts, the practitioner told him, "You didn't know it, but my husband actually did your work for you. He watched me everyday, and once I started doing the exercises, he used an oven stick to beat me. One time I was doing the exercises, and he beat me again. However, I didn't stop practicing, and I didn't feel any pain. Then suddenly a golden beam of light shone from between my eyebrows onto my husband's arm. From then on, he did not restrict me from practicing anymore." After hearing this, the policeman asked the husband, "Is that true?" The husband replied, "It is true, and my arm hurt for several days afterward." Then the policeman said, "Falun Gong is so amazing. I want to know more about it later if there is a chance."

At this time, the policeman's wife was sick, and he ended up having to spend a lot of money to cure the illness. The policeman gradually came to understand about Falun Gong, and the principle of "good is rewarded with good and evil met with evil." He told others that the Tiananmen self-immolation was staged, and that he had also been one of the victims of the deceitful propaganda.

This policeman began to change his ways. For example, later on, he and some other policemen went to another practitioner's home to harass her. However, he refused to get out of the police car, saying that the practitioner had not done anything wrong, and that they shouldn't harass her. Another time higher-ranking officers asked him to help look for a certain practitioner. To protect the practitioner, the policeman told them, "He already moved, and I don't know his current address."
