1. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Liu Wei Is On Hunger Strike To Appeal His Detention
Tiexi District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. Mr. Liu Wei, the former Shenyang Zaohua prison guard, because he told the truth and exposed the persecution, was sentenced to five years of prison in May 2000. He is now detained in the Shenyang City Dongling Prison.
Practitioners Zhu Ziguo and Wu Xuesheng were deprived of sleep for two weeks and were shocked with electric batons. Because of that, Liu Wei went to the warden and the responsible officials to expose the truth. He also frequently reflected to them the illegal acts committed by the guards. The Dongling Prison was afraid of his righteousness and on December 25, 2004, via the County Prison Administrative Bureau, Liu Wei was transferred to a strict surveillance unit of Nanhuayuan Prison in Fushun City. Liu Wei is now on a hunger strike.

Li Yanfang has been tortured by the Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province 610 Office. She was on hunger strike and is now hospitalized. Her life is in danger.
3. [Sichuan Province] Police Take 200 Thousand Yuan as Ransom From Zhou Ming's Family
In January 2005, Zhou Ming, who worked for the production department of the Sichuan Province TV Station, was arrested by police. He was arrested because someone found Dafa materials and a truth-clarifying CD image on his computer. At the time this news was dispatched, Zhou Ming was released after his family was extorted by the police for 200 thousand yuan.
4. [Shihezi City, Xinjiang Province] Liu Huijuan Arrested by Police While Clarifying the Truth
Ms. Liu Huijuan, from Yixiao District, Shihezi City, Xinjian Province, was arrested by the local police on January 20, 2005 while she was out clarifying the truth. Ms. Li Shuyan is a native of Lugouqiao Dajing Village, Fengtai District, Beijing City. On the morning of May 18, 2004, she was arrested by the Fengtai District 610 Office and local police while she distributed truth-clarifying materials at the morning market at Fengtai Sport Center. Her house was searched and all her property was confiscated. Her whereabouts are unknown.
Li Shuyan was sentenced for 18 months of forced labor in year 2001, she has firmly validated Dafa.
6. [Shahe City, Hebei Province] Zhang Xingfang Sent To a Forced Labor Camp, Zhang Guangcai is Arrested Again
The couple, Zhang Xingfang and Zhang Guangcai, natives of Guan County, Shahe City, were arrested. Zhang Xingfang was taken to the Xingtai Brainwashing Center, and after a few weeks of torture, she was sentenced to 21 months of forced labor and sent to Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp. With righteous thoughts Zhang Guangcai was released from Xingtai Brainwashing Center, but he was interfered with numerous times in Shahe City. He was arrested and sent to Handan Forced Labor Camp, but they refused to accept him because his body was severely tortured. Since Zhang Guangcai lost his job, he has gone home to take care of his parents. Recently, under the supervision of Yu Shuping, the police of Shahe City went to Guanxian County, Shandong Province to arrest Zhang Guangcai, and his whereabouts are now unknown.

7. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Wang Wenyi Sentenced to Four and a Half Years
Mr. Wang Wenyi was arrested by the Huangpu District, Shanghai City police in Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province on July 1, 2002. On March 12, 2003 the Huangpu District Peoples Court sentenced him to four and a half years in prison. The prison term began on May 24, 2002 and ends on November 23, 2006.
8. [Yongji County, Jilin Province] Guo Yingjie Arrested, Her Whereabouts Are Unknown
Ms. Guo Yingjie, a 48 year old native of Yongji County, Jilin Province, resided in Kouqian Township, Yongji County, Jilin Province, and was an employee of Yongji County Credit Bank. She was detained for going to Beijing to appeal. Later she openly returned to her post. She was always recognized as a good person by her unit.
On the night of February 3, 2005, the police from Jilin City, the 610 Office, and many policemen intruded into her house and took all her Falun Dafa books, truth-clarifying materials, her computer and printer, and forcibly arrested Guo Yingjie

9. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Liu Jingzhen Arrested
Ms. Liu Jingzhen, who is about 45 years old, obtained Falun Dafa in 1999. She resided near Zhihe Crossroad Bridge, Chuanying District, Jilin City. She was arrested around 6 times for going to Beijing to appeal and distribute truth-clarifying material.
On February 2, 2005, a few banners were hung near her house, and the police, using the excuse that Liu Jingzhen was suspected of hanging the Falun Dafa banners, searched her house and confiscated her property. Liu Jingzhen is now detained in a detention center.
10. [Kangping County, Liaoning Province] Pan Yuhua Arrested for Preparing Truth-clarifying Materials
At Wenhua Village, Xingli Township, Kangping County, Liaoning Province, Pan Yuhua was preparing truth-clarifying materials on the night of May 17, 2004 when she was arrested by Xingli Township police security members Yao Gang, Wang Wenkai and Gong Jian. They interrogated him that same night until midnight.
The next day, county police officer Zhang Xiangzhu took some people to Pan Yuhua's house and took two Dafa books. Pan Yuhua is now detained at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.
11. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Qu Fengqing Now Detained at Harbin Number Two Detention Center
Ms. Qu Fengqing, 61, resided in a Linji Factory family member's building in Harbin City. On January 21, 2005, the Tongxiang Street Police Station police and the Tongxiang community director came to Qu Fengqing's house. They discovered some Falun Dafa CDs and materials, and they confiscated her property. Qu Fengqing was forcibly taken away. Later her family received a 15 day detention ticket issued and signed by the Tongxiang Police Station. The reason for the ticket was disturbing community order. Qu Fengqing is now detained at the No. 2 Detention Center in Harbin City.

12. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Xu Guizhen Arrested for Distributing Falun Dafa Truth-clarifying Material
Ms. Xu Guizhen was born in November 1951. She is a college graduate, and a retired employee of the Jiangnan Material Factory in Nanchang City. She has gone to Beijing four times to appeal. She was once arrested at home for distributing truth-clarifying materials and has been sentenced to three years of forced labor. Because of her steadfast belief in Dafa, they increased her term by one year in September 2003.
At around 10:00 a.m. on January 23, 2005, while Xu Guizhen was distributing truth-clarifying materials in Liantang Township, Nanchang County, she was arrested by the local police and later sent to the Nanchang County Detention Center.
She immediately began a hunger strike to protest being detained. At the time of this writing (January 30), it was the eighth day of her hunger strike. Police have regularly dragged her from her cell and barbarically force fed her. She is now extremely weak. When she was inside the prison cell, the detention police forced Xu Guizhen to "wear cluster" for a long time (a heavy shackle is put on the ankle, both hands are cuffed to the shackle at the feet, and the waist and legs cannot stretch out straight)

On the afternoon of February 4, 2005, at Shenjiabo Village, Yaocun Town, Linzhou City, Henan Province, Guo Caiyun was arrested by police while she was distributing truth-clarifying materials to the local people.

14. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Numerous Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested
In November 2004, a truth-clarifying materials production site in Suining City was destroyed. On the morning of November 29, Mr. Wang Guoqi, 67, and Ms. Zhou Zhihua, 60, were arrested. On that same afternoon, Ms. Guo Dingmin, 40, Zhang Zhijun, Wu Yang, He Zubing, and Guo Runsheng, a total of five people, were arrested at different locations. Wen Juping was arrested in Beiba City, Ms. Tan Xiaorong, 38, was seized in Beiminsuo, and practitioners Lin Suzhen from Pengxi City and Wu Qunhua from Daying were also arrested. Wu Shicai from Hengshan, and Xiao Yunqiang were arrested while they were on their way to a materials site.
15. [Hechuan City, Sichuan Province] Shi Shengyu Arrested by the 610 Office
Shi Shengyu from Hechuan City has gone to Beijing to validate Dafa and has continuously spread the truth, doing what a Dafa practitioner should do. She was illegally arrested many times. Every time she was tortured very critically but she has never given in to the evil. This year, Shi Shengyu was once again arrested and detained. Her life is in great danger.
16. [Guanxian County, Shandong Province] Two Brothers, Zhang Guangcai and Zhang Guangbao Are Seized
On February 4, 2005, Zhang Guangcai was arrested by the Shahe City, Hebei Province police in Nanmancai Village, Xiedian Township of Guan County. On February 7, his brother Zhang Guangbao was forcibly taken from his house by the Guan County police, led by Chen Yuezhi. He is now detained at the Guan County Detention Center.
