Ms. Cui Xiaoping is a Falun Gong practitioner from Leshan City, Sichuan Province. On December 14, 2004, policemen abducted her and took her to the Woman's Forced Labor Camp of Sichuan Province in Yangmahe, Jianyang City. Ms. Cui used to work at the Education Committee of Leshan City. She was also the volunteer director of the city's Falun Dafa Assistance Center. In the past few years she has been sentenced to prison, to the forced labor camp, and detained many times, but she escaped with the help of strong righteous thoughts. In August 2004, after being severely tortured, she went on a hunger strike for over 20 days. She was only skin and bones and her whole body turned dark. The police and 610 Office officials thought that she was dying and released her. She has just been sentenced to six years in prison. She has been on a hunger strike since the day she was abducted.

Ms. Chen Qing worked at the Community Insurance Bureau of Beian City in Heilongjiang Province. In August 2000, she and her daughter went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. After she came back from Beijing she was detained for 15 days. Afterwards she was monitored and followed 24 hours a day. At about 10 p.m. on February 28, 2001, people from her work place came to her home and forced her to go with them and live at her work place. She was brainwashed there for three months. Her 18-year-old daughter was sentenced to a forced labor camp for distributing truth-clarifying materials. On June 3, Ms Chen was abducted and taken to the detention center for a month. In the middle of August 2000, the police took her to the detention center in Beian City. She went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution and was transferred to the detention center in Dedu City. At 7 p.m. on April 17, 2002, when the police and 610 Office of Beian City were about to start large scale arrests of practitioners, Ms. Chen and her daughter were forced to flee their home to avoid arrest. On November 8, when clarifying the truth to the public, her daughter was abducted and held at the Municipal Detention Center for over a year. Later she was sentenced secretly to five years and is now in a prison in Heilongjiang Province.

• Ms. Hu Guifang, 60, has been detained four times since 2001.
• Mr. Ye Tingpei, 63, lived in Division 8 of Shifen Village, Caochi Town of Jianyang City. On July 24, 2002, he was abducted and detained for one month.
• Ms. Fu Nengzhen, 63, and her 40-year-old daughter, Wu Juyun, live in Gaoming Town of Jianyang City. In March 2001, both of them were abducted and detained for 15 days. In October 2001, they were abducted and detained again for 40 days.
• Mr. Zhou Yuncai, 52, lives in Jiajia Town of Jianyang City. In September 2001, when he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, he was abducted on his way in Hebei Province. Later he was transferred to the Detention Center of Jianyang City for over 20 days. On November 29, 2003, he was abducted again by the officers from the 610 Office of Jianyang City and detained for two and a half months. His home has been ransacked many times.
• Ms. Chen Nengqing, 38, was abducted and detained for 112 days because she refused to give up her belief in Falun Dafa. Her home has been ransacked many times.
• Ms. Xie Yuqing, 43, was abducted on February 8, 2002, by Wu Longhua, the deputy director of the Jiajia Police Station of Jianyang City, and his followers. They also ransacked her home. She was detained for 100 days.
• Ms. Xiao Huiqing, 50, is an elementary school teacher. On November 28, 2003, she clarified the truth in her class and was reported to the police. Wu Longhua, the deputy director of the Jiajia Police Station, and Chen Kean abducted her and took her to the Detention Center of Jianyang City, where she has been held ever since.
• Ms. Xiang Xiuying, 55, lives in Division 6 of Village 5, Gaoming Township, Jiajia Town. On July 25, 2002, her home was ransacked and she was detained for four months.
• Chen Fangrui and Yu Yuliang, both practitioners, live in Division 5 of Village 5, Gaoming Township, Jiajia Town. On July 25, 2002, their homes were ransacked and they were detained for four months. They were also severely tortured and injured.
• 42-year-old Ms. Xie Siquong, 50-year-old Ms. Xiao Chunhua, and 55-year-old Mr. Wang Xueping are all practitioners. Their homes have been ransacked many times.

Zhang Zhanqiang is a guard with the first Division of the Baoding Forced Labor Camp of Hebei Province. Liu Qingyong is the newly appointed director and deputy political instructor of the First Division of the Baoding Forced Labor Camp. They have been doing terrible things to try to make practitioners "transform". From May 2004 to February 2005, they persecuted practitioners on the fourth floor of the labor camp. These two handcuffed the practitioners to the metal heater on the wall and used high voltage electric batons to shock them. Sometimes they even used many electric batons at the same time. When they were ready to torture, these two first handcuffed the practitioner to the bed in a spread eagle position and secured the practitioner with a rope. A few guards would work together, each of them using an electric baton. They shocked the practitioner simultaneously on the head, palms, arches of the feet, the neck, legs, the private parts, and sometimes even on the tongue. They ordered inmates to monitor practitioners around the clock. On the morning of December 22, 2004, Zhang Zhanqiang shocked practitioner Zhang Xiuqi's hands. When the hands were all burned, he shocked the body and then the private parts. Since the practitioner was handcuffed to a bed, after the electric shock, the practitioner shook so much that the bed even was lifted off the floor.

Practitioner Mr. Zheng Jianming is an employee of the Petroleum Company of Pingdingshan City in Henan Province. He was abducted and taken to the Xinhua Police Department on March 16, 2005. He was then sentenced to two years of forced labor at the Xuchang Forced Labor Camp.
