1. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gao Yaxian Left Masanjia Forced Labor Camp with the Help of Righteous Thoughts
Officers at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp beat Ms. Gao Yaxian because of her firm belief in Falun Dafa. They put her in a small cell in isolation and brutally forced fed her. The torture was so severe that she was paralyzed, could not walk, and was on the verge of death. After a physical examination, the labor camp authorities learned that all of her vital signs were failing and she could die at any moment. It was reported on February 6 that, in fear of being responsible for her death, the Masanjia Labor Camp had released her a few days earlier. She remains very weak.
2. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] The Police Arrest Mr. Wang Lailai at His Home
Mr. Wang Lailai is from Lugangxinzhuang in the western suburb of Baoding City, Hebei Province. After they received reports that he clarified the truth the public, officers from the Hancun Police Station, led by the village security official Wang Wensheng, arrested him at his home. Mr. Wang is being held at the Baoding City Detention Center.

3. [Laiyuan County, Hebei Province] Police Arrest Mr. Wang Yu
Mr. Wang Yu is from Laiyuan County, Hebei Province. Officers from the State Security Section of Laiyuan County at the county's Lianyi Cast and Die Factory of the Beichengzi Electricity Station at Zoumayi arrested him without cause. Mr. Wang is being held at the county detention center for abuse. The county police also confiscated his car.

4. [Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Feng Yuqiong Arrested; Ms. Liang Shiqiong Persecuted
Ms. Feng Yuqiong, from Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province, was arrested on December 16, 2004. Only after she was arrested, did the police issue the warrant for her arrest. She faces a possible prison term and is being held at the Duanzhou Detention Center.
Ms. Liang Shiqiong was arrested on December 7, 2004. She was sent the Gaoyao Detention Center where she went on a hunger strike that lasted nine days. She was released from the detention center with the help of righteous thoughts. Since then the police have been harassing her at her home.

5. [Pengzhou, Sichuan Province] Mr. Chen Liqing Mentally Incapacitated as a Result of Torture
Mr. Chen Liqing is from Pengzhou, Sichuan Province. The Pengzhou police arrested him because he remained steadfast in his belief in Falun Dafa. On September 22, 2004, the authorities planned to put him on trial, but the trial was never held. Mr. Chen was not allowed to see or write to his family. Several months later, his family received a letter from him and learned that he had been sentenced to prison on December 3, 2004. His family went to the school where Mr. Chen was employed. The school officials told his family that the police had extorted 3,000 yuan from the school but the authorities did not notify them that Mr. Chen had been sentenced either.
When the school leaders went to visit Mr. Chen, they found that he was slow and numb in responding to them.
6. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Ma Yingxin and Her Aunt Ms. Ma Jianqu Arrested and Tortured
On the evening of May 12, 2004, officer Zhang from the Hongxing Road Police Station and Li Boyang of the security section of the textile factory arrested Ms. Ma Yingxin at the gate of the Xidayuan'er Silk Factory. They also arrested Ms. Ma's husband, Mr. Ma Haijiang, who is not a practitioner. The police then ransacked their home.
Ms. Ma was sentenced to four years in prison. Her family, through connections, helped to reduce her term to three years. Her husband was sentenced to one year of forced labor.
Ms. Ma's cousin was also arrested for buying Ms. Ma a cellular phone. The cousin was held in custody for a month and fined 5,000 yuan.
Before her arrest on May 12, Ms. Ma had a meal at her aunt Ma Jianqi's home. On the morning of June 16, officers from the Nanshi District told Ms. Ma Jianqi to leave her home. When they got her out of the house, they arrested her and brought her to the Baoding Forced Labor Camp. She was sentenced to three years of forced labor on the charge of "disrupting the social order."
After Ms. Ma Yingxin was arrested on the evening of May 12, she was shackled, handcuffed, put in an iron cage, and deprived of sleep. Leaders of the Nanshi District 610 Office coerced and threatened her. They slapped her face, stepped on her toes, and physically abused her in other ways during the interrogation. She was given only two meals in a 72-hour period.
7. [Shihezi, Xinjiang] Mr. Chen Yingde, in His Seventies, Arrested Again
In January 2005, members of the 610 Office and state security officers in Shihezi, Xinjiang again arrested Mr. Chen Yingde, who is in his seventies. The arrest took place soon after Mr. Chen was released from the prison.
8. [Guan County, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhang Guangcai and Mr. Zhang Guangbao Arrested
On February 4, 2005, officers from the Shahe City Police Department in Hebei Province arrested Mr. Zhang Guangcai from Nanmancai Village in Xiadian Township, Guan County. On February 7, officers led by Chen Yuezhi arrested Mr. Zhang Guangbao, who is from the same village, at his home. He has since been held at the Guan County Detention Center.
9. [Linjiang City, Jilin Province] Ms. Chen Xiurong, Ms. Sun Yunzhi, Mr. Gao Shouhe, and Mr. Chi Mingbao Remain in Custody
On December 28, 2004, Ms. Chen Xiurong, Ms. Sun Yunzhi, Mr. Gao Shouhe and Mr. Chi Mingbao went to a remote area to distribute truth-clarifying materials, bringing Dafa's benevolent compassion to people in the mountains. The police arrested them upon receiving reports from the locals. They are being held at the Linjiang City Forestry Bureau Detention Center. Their families have been denied the right to visit them.

10. [Dashiqiao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Fu Ying and Her Sister Ms. Fu Yan Sentenced and Held at Liaoning Women's Prison
Ms. Fu Ying and her sister Ms. Fu Yan are from Dashiqiao City, Liaoning Province. They were each sentenced to nine years in prison. They have been respectively held at the No. 7 and No. 9 Divisions of the Liaoning Province Women's Prison for over three years. Ms. Fu Ying's family has not been allowed to visit her for over half a year. When her family talked with the prison officials, they were told that visits were permitted. However, when they went to the prison on February 3, they were allowed to visit Ms. Fu Ying, but not Ms. Fu Yan. No explanation was provided.
11. [Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province] Several Practitioners Arrested; Their Homes Ransacked
Zhongshan City practitioners Ms. Li Peiqun, Lu Weiwen, Ms. Li Meiqiong, and Ms. Zhang Ermei were arrested between late December 2004 and late January 2005. Their homes were also ransacked. Ms. Rao Yanping is missing and his whereabouts are unknown.
During the same period, police also ransacked the homes of several other Falun Dafa practitioners, confiscating their Falun Dafa books and materials.
12. [Chongqing] Ms. Zhou Qunying's Whereabouts Unknown
Ms. Zhou Qunying is from Hechuan, Chongqing. She was arrested in Nanping, Chongqing in December 2000 and subsequently sentenced to four years in prison. Her term should have ended in December 2004. Because she was steadfast in her belief in Falun Dafa, she endured all sorts of torture at the Yongchuan Prison. She was transferred to the Chongqing City Youth Rehabilitation Institute (also a prison).
In January 2005, she could not be located. It is uncertain who took her, and her whereabouts are unknown at the present time.
13. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Ms. Li Haiying Arrested
Ms. Li Meiying, 64, is from Changsha City, Hunan Province. She began practicing Falun Gong in 1996 and helped teach Falun Gong exercises at the Xiaoyuan Park practice site in Changsha City. She lives at the dormitory of the Changsha Steel Factory. On January 16, 2005, she was arrested while distributing truth-clarifying materials near Shiziling in Changsha City. Ms. Li is being held at the Changsha City Detention Center. The Wenyi Road Police Station in the Furong District is in charge of her case.
