1. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Dongxia and Others Arrested
Practitioners Ms. Sun Dongxia and her husband are from the Northern District of Qingdao City. In May 2005, the local police arrested Ms. Sun at home. They confiscated her printer and other valuables. According to sources, four practitioners who visited her home prior to May 13 were also arrested.
2. [Liaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Xu Zengchen and Wang Shaoshi from Longchang Township, Wangjia Village, Liaoyang County Arrested
On May 5, 2005, the local police arrested Xu Zengchen and Wang Shaoshi from Longchang Township, Wangjia Village, Liaoyang County. Someone had reported them to the police.
3. [Shandong Province] Mr. Zhang Aiquan and Ms. Wang Mingyun, Husband and Wife from the Shengli Oilfield, Arrested
On May 13, Mr. Zhang Aiquan from the Dongxin Refinery at Shengli Oilfield disappeared after he finished work. It is presumed that he was arrested. Plainclothes police also arrested his wife, Ms. Wang Mingyun, and ransacked their home. No one knows where the couple is. The police took away their valuables and their computer equipment. Since July 20, 1999, the couple has been constantly persecuted. Mr. Zhang used to be a police officer at the oilfield. In June 2000, he was sentenced to three years in a forced labor camp. After he was released, he was forced to take up a position in the Dongxin Refinery. Ms. Wang Mingyuan is unemployed.
4. [[Shandong Province] The Police Arrest Ms. Wang Qingmei of the Shengli Oilfield
On May 11, 2005, at 7 p.m., the police arrested Ms. Wang Qingmei from the Youjian No.3 Company of Shengli Oilfield because she was distributing truth clarification materials. She is being held at the brainwashing center at the Shengli Oilfield Oil Collecting Factory. On May 11, the police ransacked Ms. Wang's home.
5. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] The Chaoyang District Qinghe Police Station Arrests Mr. Chen Chengyuan
On May 12, 2005, in Changchun City, the local police ransacked Mr. Chen Chengyuan's
home. They arrested him and his mother-in-law, Ms. Zhang, and took them to the police station, leaving a school-aged child and sick father-in-law at home with no one to care for them. His wife Ms. Yan Huawei is being held at the Heizuizi Women's Prison.
6. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yao Qingyuan Arrested at Work
On May 11, 2005, in the afternoon, the Chengfeng Police Division's public security squad arrested Mr. Yao Qingyuan from Daqing. Then they searched him and confiscated all of his books, tapes and truth clarification materials. He is now being held at the Daqing City Detention Center .
7. [Guan County, Shandong Province] The Police Arrest Numerous Falun Dafa Practitioners
On April 24, 2005, at 7 p.m., the police from Dongdangpu Village, Dianzhi Township
arrested Mr. Dong Xinhai and took him to the local detention center. They broke into his house and confiscated all of his truth clarification materials. Ms. Li Shufeng, Mr. Zhao Shuhai, Mr. Yin Zijing, and Mr. Feng Xuehui were arrested at the same time.
8. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Du Jiqun Jailed for Three Years; on the Verge of Death Due to Torture.
In July 2002, under orders from the District Party Secretary, Huang Weilian, Ms. Du Juqun from Weifang City was sentenced to four years in prison on trumped up charges. She was accused of leaking national secrets and sabotaging law enforcement. She is now in the Jinan Women's Jail.
During three years in detention, because she refused to give up her belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, Ms. Du Jiqun was locked in solitary confinement, beaten and forced to do hard labor for as long as 16 to 20 hours a day. Ms. Du had internal bleeding three times. She is now on the verge of death.
9. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ji Guilan Arrested
Ms. Ji Guilan, 60 years old, from Zhifu District, Yantai City, was arrested while distributing truth clarification materials in 2001. She was sentenced to two years in a forced labor camp and released 26 days after she went on hunger strike. After that, she was forced to leave home and live on the streets to avoid being recaptured.
On May 11, 2005, the police located Ms. Ji. About 11 to 12 police officers from the Yantai Public Security 610 Office, the Yantai Zhifu District Public Security Bureau 610 Office, the Zhifu District Nanda Street Police Station, and the Wendeng City Public Security Bureau arrested her.

10. [Shandong Province] Ms. Shu Baoli and Her Family Arrested
Ms. Shu Baoli from Shandong Province, 32 years old, is from Anqiu City Wangjiazhuangzi Township, Lijiagucheng Village, Shandong Province. On March 15, 2005, local police officers Li Hongbin and Zhang Huansheng from Wangjiazhuangzi Township forced their way into Ms. Shu's home to ransack it and arrested her. After she was forced to pay 10,000 yuan, she was tortured for one month at the Anqiu Detention Center. On April 15, she was sent to the Shandong Province Wangchun Detention Center for forced labor.
Ms. Shu's husband, Mr. Li Yongqun, is not a practitioner. He is about 32 years old. He is from LijiaguchengVillage and made a living at farming. After July 20, 1999, because his wife refused to renounce Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance, Mr. Li was harassed and threatened, his home ransacked, and assumed guilty by association. During the time when his wife was detained, the police extorted 40,000 yuan from Mr. Li. In order to pay the amount they demanded, he had to borrow money from his relatives and sell his grain.
Ms. Shu's daughter, Li Xinxin, is 5 years old. Since her mother was arrested, she has only her father to take care of her.
11. [Laizhou, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhao Facheng and Ms. Ren Zhifang Arrested
On May 4, 2005, the police arrested Mr. Zhao Facheng and Ms. Ren Zhifang from Laizhou City, Shandong Province while they were distributing truth clarification materials.
12. [Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Guoyou from the Harbin Industrial University Sent to the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp
Mr. Li Guoyou is a lecturer at the Harbin Industrial University of Heilongjiang Province. On October 6, 2004, the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp tipped off the police and they arrested him. This was the third time he was arrested. The Harbin Public Security Bureau sentenced him to two years of forced labor. Mr. Li has been at the detention center for half a year.
On March 25, Mr. Li Guoyou was transferred to the Wanjia Detention Center for further persecution. Four days later, he was moved to the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp. When his family went to visit him on visitors' days, the guard asked if the visitor also practiced Falun Gong. When the reply was yes, his family was refused entry. The guards said that they were just following procedure.
13. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Song Yan's Home Ransacked
On May 9, the police from Jiaozhou City went to Mr. Song Yan's home to search it. They took away his computer, printer and some other materials. Luckily Mr. Song was not at home at the time.
14. [Beijing] Mr. Wang Zhiqing, a PhD Student in Architecture at Qinghua University Gets Heavy Sentence
Mr. Wang Zhiqiang, 40 years old, is a PhD student at Qinghua University. He is teaching at the Jilin Architecture Institute. He is now jailed in the Laocan Ward, at the Jilin Jail and has been sentenced to 8 to 10 years.
15. [Beijing] Mr. Zuo Changxi and Ms. Zhao Xuefeng, Husband and Wife, Arrested
Mr. Zuo Changxi and Ms. Zhao Xuefeng from You'anmenwai, Beijing were arrested a few days ago. They are being held at the No.7 Department of the Public Security Bureau.
16. [Shandong Province] The Local Police in Lin County Arrest Ms. Zhang Yumei
On April 21, the Lin County 610 Office personnel, in conjunction with the Jizishan Township and the Shihetou Village Police, arrested Ms. Zhang Yumei and sent her to the local detention center.
17. [Boshan, Shandong Province] The Qiugu Forced Labor Camp Continues to Torture Ms Wang Zhaohua Even Though Her Term Is Up
The Xiyuan County 610 Office arrested Ms. Wang Zhaohua from Wujing Township, Xiyu Village. She has been tortured at the Boshan Forced Labor Camp for three years now. Her term was up on April 26, 2005. When her family went to pick her up, the forced labor camp refused to release her.
18. [Jiangxi Province] Primary School Teacher from Jiujiang County, Ms. Zhang Sixiong Arrested
On April 30, 2005, in the afternoon, some parents went to Yongan Township, Aiguo Village to complain that a third grade teacher, Ms. Zhang Sixiong, asked their children to renounce their membership in the Young Pioneer League. The Yongan Village Police arrested Ms. Zhang. That same night, they took her to a detention center and on the second day they sent her back to the city's public security bureau.
At 5:30 p.m. on the same day, another police officer went to practitioner Ms. Rao Fenglan's home and confiscated her cassette tapes and some Dafa books.
19. [Zaozhuang, Shandong Province] The Mengzhuang Township
Police Station Arrests Ms. Liu Aiqin
Ms. Liu Aiqin from Shangdong Province, Zaozhuang City went with practitioner Tian on May 10, 2005 to distribute truth clarification materials in Mengzhuang Township. The local police Station arrested them. She is now detained at the detention center.
20. [Jilin Province] Ms. Sun Yanping from Meihekou City, Hongmei Township, Arrested
On May 7, 2005, at 2 p.m. some police officers stormed into Ms. Sun Yanping's home and arrested her. She was helping her teenage child study. They claimed that they were from Liaoyuan City Public Security Bureau. Her relatives went to local police to inquire about it, but they said they did not know about this and had nothing to do with it.
21. [Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Hong Mei Arrested and Tortured
Ms. Hong Mei learned Falun Dafa in 1998. Prior to that, she had many illnesses. Within a month of starting to practice, she recovered.
On May 4, 2005, Ms. Hong went with a fellow practitioner to distribute truth clarification materials in the Dongjiao area. They were detained separately in a detention center and at the Xice Jail. Ms. Hong was interrogated. The Head of the Political and Legal Commission Guan and an unidentified policeman punched her, grabbed her by the hair and smashed her head into the wall. Another time when Ms. Hong was interrogated, Li Hua from the local Procuratorate whipped her with a leather belt, leaving bloody marks on her body. They forced Ms. Hong's family to pay 8,000 yuan before they would release her.
