Jilin Women's Forced Labor Camp Brutally Tortures Ms. Zhu Xiyu - Her Current Condition Unknown

May 9, 2005

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhu Yuxi is detained in Division Four of the Jilin Women's Forced Labor Camp and is being tortured. Her condition is unknown.

All Falun Dafa practitioners detained in the Jilin Women's Forced Labor Camp face prolonged terms. They are shocked with electric batons, confined in small rooms, punished by being made to stand for long periods (sleeping is only allowed after midnight.), and beaten. Those who protest by going on a hunger strike are force-fed once every day and are injected with a bottle of an unknown liquid.

Before the Chinese New Year, the Jilin Labor Camp forced all people detained there to work from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. They had to wrap soft candy right away after meals. There were no sanitation measures at all.

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhu Xiyu went on a hunger strike for about three months. After she was force-fed in a clinic, the guards put rope on her ankles and then dragged her around. Both her back and her head were severely bruised and she left blood spots on the snow in the yard. People from all divisions saw her as they lined up for meals and could not stand watching this any more. People constantly shouted out the words, "Stop persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners." Until then, the prison guards assisted Ms. Zhu to sit up on the ground. Afterward, they dragged her to her room upstairs while she was still sitting. Dragging her this way left blood spots on every step of the stairway.

Sometimes, the guards tossed her in the snow after force-feeding her. Later they sent her to the hospital next to the Police Department and persecuted her there for three months. People saw that Ms. Zhu had gone crazy after she was sent back to the forced labor camp. The prison guards intimidated Falun Dafa practitioners, saying, "If you don't renounce Falun Gong, you'll end up like Zhu Xiyu: either crazy or dead."
