1. Twelve Practitioners in Daqing City Arrested within One Week in April

During the week of April 14-28, 2005, at least twelve practitioners in Daqing City were abducted, including Mr. and Mrs. Yang Huagui, Ms. Zhang Binbin from Donghu District, Ms. Luo Mingfen from Babaishang, Ms. Chen Shui'e from Tieren'er Village, Ms. Liu Liying, Ms. Yang Yuhua (tortured to death), Ms. Cao Lizhen and Ms. Wang Xiaohua from Rang District, Mr. Zhang Jianyi, Ms. Xiao Mei and Ms. Liu Yanqin from Xibin District. They are on a hunger strike to protest their illegal detentions.

2. Ms. He Lihua in Critical Condition Due to Brutal Force-Feeding in Daqing Detention Center

Practitioner Ms. He Lihua was arrested after April 10, 2005, from the Houlonggang, Rang District in Daqing City. She is being held in the Daqing City Detention Center. 3. Persecution Facts of Practitioner Ms. Li Xiuying in Yishui County, Linyi City, Shandong Province

Practitioner Ms. Li Xiuying from Longshanguanzhuang Village, Huangshanpu Town, Yishui County, Linyi City, Shandong Province, was detained for six months in 2000 for going to Beijing to appeal. Personnel from the 610 Office later took her to the Gaozhuang Township Elementary School, where she was cruelly tortured for two months by having to undergo "military training." At the beginning of September 2004, Liu Tingbiao (male) of the Huangshanpu Town 610 Office led lawless officers to arrest Ms. Li and ransack her home. They refused to tell her family why Ms. Li had been abducted or where she was being detained. They ransacked her home without any legal procedures. Her ten-year-old younger daughter was at home when they ransacked the place. Before October 2004, Liu Tingbiao led a group of officers to find her husband and try to make him pay them 1000 yuan for Ms. Li's living expenses. When Ms. Li's husband could not meet their demand, they threatened to send Ms. Li to the forced labor camp. Ms. Li's family dared not live at home any longer. They appealed at the Yishui County Appeal Office, the police department, the County Government and the County Political Consultation Conference but did not get any response. Ms. Li was sentenced to two years of forced labor without her family's knowledge. She is detained Wangcun Labor Camp located in Zibo City, Shandong Province. Ms. Li Xiuying's mother is deceased, and her husband and elder daughter have left their local area to earn a living. Her ten-year-old younger daughter is living with her mother-in-law. The elderly grandmother, approaching 80 years old, also has to take care of her own father-in-law, who is paralyzed.

4. Practitioner Ms. Sun Yumei's Family Demands Her Release

Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Sun Yumei is 33 years old and an employee of Daqing Petroleum Collecting Plant. On the evening of April 23, 2005, she was arrested for posting truth clarifying banners and is being held in Daqing City Detention Center. The arrest and detention of Ms. Sun Yumei has violated the Chinese Constitution and its Criminal Regulations. As her family, we wish to charge the Police Substation of Tieren District, Daqing City, with violation of Criminal Law Article 238 for "illegal detention;" Article 243 for "slander;" Article 245 for "illegal search;" Article 257 for "depriving the right of the Citizen's freedom of belief;" and Article 398 for "misuse of political power."

5. Persecution Facts about the Police in Yanting County, Sichuan Province

The police in Yanting County, Deyang City, Sichuan Province, have been arresting practitioners since August 2004. They claim that their 80 officers, organized in August 2004, have arrested more than 200 practitioners. In September 2004, the officers went to an area near the Second Heavy Industrial Factory Dorm three times to arrest practitioners Mr. Hou Youcong, Ms. Gou Chengxiu, and Ms. Zhao Deqing. These three practitioners were released in October individually. On October 27, 2004, Mr. Hou Youcong, Ms. Gou Chengxiu, Ms. Wang Shuhua, Ms. Yao Shaohua, Ms. Chen Suhua, Ms. He Shuang, Ms. Tang Suqing, and others were arrested and handcuffed. They were forced to wear slanderous placards on their necks and stand on the playground of Linglong Town High School to be defamed in public.
