Master has told us clearly in the article, "In Fa-Rectification Your Thoughts Have to be Righteous, Not Human:"
"My Dafa disciples who have strong human thoughts: the path I'm leading you down heads toward godhood, yet some students just tenaciously cling to human notions."
"I don't want to leave behind even one single Dafa disciple, but you have got to improve yourselves through real Fa-study and cultivation! With validating the Fa, you should save the world's people and do well the three things Dafa disciples are supposed to do. Be diligent! Cast aside your human attachments. Godhood isn't far away."
In addition, Master said in "Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S. International Fa Conference:"
"The fact is, at this time Dafa disciples have to do divine things, because for Dafa disciples their personal cultivation is no longer first and foremost. Saving sentient beings and reconstructing the colossal firmament during the Fa-rectification are the purpose. You have to do Fa-rectification things and things to save sentient beings, so you need to clear away the obstacles presented by this environment and validate Dafa."
Master also said,
"Everything in the world was established and created for the Fa-rectification, and Dafa disciples are the great figures of our time. Since ancient times the beings in all realms have waited in anticipation. Gather up and rescue the beings that you are to save! Have righteous thoughts and righteous actions, dissolve all hindrances, and spread the facts widely. Divine beings are among men." ("To the European Fa Conference in Stockholm")
Master is leading us towards godhood. He said,
"Dafa disciples have to do divine things"("Teaching the Fa at the Western U.S. International Fa Conference")
What is happening in this period of time is unprecedented. We are extremely lucky to be Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples. No matter which category among the three different karmic relationships described by Teacher we belong to, all of us have to cherish our opportunities. We have to firmly and truly cultivate ourselves on the path of validating Dafa and be continuously diligent on our paths toward godhood. Even though everyone's cultivation path is different, my personal understanding is that we can still strictly discipline ourselves in the following general respects:
1. "Studying the Fa" is serious and of special significance. Thus, Fa-study is the most important thing. No matter how busy we are every day, we have to find some time to calm down and study the Fa. We have to understand the Fa from the Fa and let it go deeply into our minds. Truly melting into the Fa is the key for studying the Fa well. We need to tolerate difficulties, putting great effort on eliminating all kinds of attachments. We also have to get rid of all sorts of desires and human notions. We will gain naturally without pursuit.
We have to practice the five exercises every day with a clear, strong main consciousness. We need to be strict with ourselves and not leave any excuse for interference to occur.
2. When we send righteous thoughts, we need to keep our main consciousnesses strong and our minds absolutely clear. We have to concentrate, be pure and compassionate and have tremendously powerful thoughts. We need to be serious about the Fa-rectification formula and the word "Mie" (Chinese pinyin, meaning "eliminated"). All that matters is how much we believe. The more we believe, the more powerful it will be. If we truly believe, our accumulated Mighty Virtue will be able to do anything. Let's fully use the unparalleled divine powers that come from the Mighty Virtue given to us by Master to completely eliminate "the rampant dark minions and rotten ghosts."
3. We clarify the truth with righteous thoughts and actions by following the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." We don't miss anyone who has a karmic relationship with us and clarify the truth as much as we can. We should actively participate in all types of Dafa projects and try to do as much as we can.
Faced with the eager hope of all living beings, it will be so wonderful if every single Dafa disciple can reach the standard of a god. Let's encourage ourselves with Master's words from "Teaching the Fa on Easter, 2004, at the New York Fa Conference:"
"Today is Easter, the day of a god's resurrection! (Enthusiastic applause) This is all I'll say today. On this special, glorious day, may Dafa disciples' divine sides also be resurrected!"
