Central News Agency: Former Chinese Communist Official Charges CCP with Abusing Falun Gong Practitioners

Aug. 13, 2005

(Clearwisdom.net) According to a report by Central News Agency on August 6, the former deputy director of the Shenyang Public Security Bureau made his first-ever public appearance. In a press conference, Guangshen Han accused the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) of violating human rights, and abusing political dissidents and Falun Gong practitioners. Han's refugee application was rejected by the Canadian government and he is now seeking public support and sympathy to reverse the decision.

During the press conference, Han said that he personally witnessed political dissidents and Falun Gong practitioners being tortured with electric batons during his tenure at Public Security Bureau. Han said that the hands of the CCP are stained with the blood of innocent civilians.

Han said the CCP has spy networks abroad and some spies have disguised themselves as reporters. In addition, the CCP also routinely checks citizens' mail. Han said that the corruption of the CCP is more advanced than any other political parties around the world.

In September 2001, Han came to Canada on a business visit. He then applied for refugee status. He said that he was very regretful about his past after he realized the evil nature of CCP.

Han said that he was highly encouraged by the two officials who defected in Australia and thus chose to publicly disclose the evil nature of CCP.

Han also called upon all CCP members with a conscience to denounce the CCP and seek a new life.

Han's refugee bid was turned down this April and he is facing deportation. The reason the Canadian Immigration and Refugee Board turned down Han's application is that it believes that Han was also an accomplice of the evil regime and thus is not qualified to be a refugee. Han is worried that he could be sentenced to death penalty if he is deported back to China. Han is now appealing to the Canadian Federal Court.

Han is currently running a small business. He doesn't regret his choice to flee China and publicly denounce the CCP.
