Public Security Bureau Disciplines 610 Officers to Prevent Them from Forsaking Darkness for Light

Sept. 8, 2005

(Clearwisdom.net) Since the publication of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, people who have learned the truth have been withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). According to internal news from the 610 Office, since Hao Fengjun (Hao Fengjun was a former policeman from the 610 Office of the Tianjin Public Security Bureau. He escaped from China in February 2005 and was granted a protection visa in Australia. He took all the secret documents he had downloaded from his office computer with him.) renounced the CCP and has been frequently disclosing the truth about CCP suppression in China, the CCP has been giving a brief explanation to police officials internally. They say that Hao betrayed China and escaped because he had accepted a bribe. They try to hide the fact of his withdrawal from the CCP. However, police from the 610 Office scoffed and said that working with the 610 Office, they have almost no chance to be involved with rich people who could pay big bribes. They know that the 610 Office deals almost exclusively with Falun Gong. So how much money could Falun Gong have? Who would they get a bribe from? They know that there must be something more that the Party is not telling them!

The Public Security Bureau could not find any fresh lie to give explanation to police about Hao Fenjun's renouncing the CCP. So as is the CCP's regular pattern, the old fashioned internal disciplining started. The Public Security Bureau distributed to its employees a file about developing education and discipline regarding "loyalty". The scope of discipline was temporarily confined to police from all 610 Offices managed by the Public Security Bureau. The file requires certain actions to be taken.

First of all, the authorities require all 610 police to report the type of passport they have. Business passports must be handed in for uniform safekeeping. Private passports will be handled according to varying situations. Some people must also hand in their private passports.

The method of one constantly watching another is adopted in order to prevent the recurrence of what Hao Fengjun did, forsaking darkness for light. It is funny when talking about this, as the means used to deal with Falun Gong are now used to deal with the perpetrators themselves. The actual method is that all 610 police officials in every branch must be categorized as one of three classes: loyal, trustworthy and not trustworthy. All 610 police must meet with their boss once every day. Whoever is not in contact for one day is regarded as having "disappeared". This must be reported up level by level and his boss will be responsible for the disappearance. Every person must be watched. For those police who are classified as not trustworthy, all of their business and private passports must be handed in for uniform safekeeping. They must be watched secretly by at least two people for their everyday whereabouts and any of their suspicious actions must be immediately reported to the boss.

Hence, "loyalty" education results in the restriction of 610 police's physical freedom. Those who worked hard or even "rendered outstanding service" in the crackdown on Falun Gong never dreamed that they would see today's result.
