1. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Xu Xigui and His Wife Mrs. Zhang Suli Arrested
On the morning of December 21, 2005, practitioners Mr. Xu Xigui and his wife Mrs. Zhang Suli from Fushun City in Liaoning Province were arrested. Detailed information has yet to be investigated.
2. [Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Mr. Wang Desheng Illegally Sentenced to Long-term Imprisonment, His Wife Mrs. Shan Jidan Imprisoned
Practitioner Mr. Wang Desheng previously worked for the Zhongning County Electricity Plant in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. He started practicing Falun Dafa in 1993. After the persecution of Falun Dafa started on July 20, 1999, Mr. Wang went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong, and was illegally arrested and sentenced to four years of imprisonment. Because Mr. Wang steadfastly practices Falun Dafa, he held in several prisons, where he was brutally tortured and forced to carry out strenuous forced labor. On the very day he was released from prison, Mr. Wang was put into a brainwashing center.
On January 6, 2005, Mr. Wang Desheng was arrested by the Yinchuan City Police Department. In order to force Mr. Wang Desheng to reveal the sites where Falun Dafa truth-clarification materials are produced, as well as the whereabouts of other fellow practitioners, the police officers brutally tortured him for ten days. The court recently sentenced Mr. Wang Desheng to eight years of imprisonment. Mr. Wang is being held in the Eighth Division of the Shizuishan Prison (the former Pingluo County Prison).
Practitioner Mrs. Shan Jidan, who is Mr. Wang Desheng's wife, was illegally sentenced to three years of forced labor because she went Beijing to appeal after July 20, 1999. Her release from the forced labor camp was delayed. After Mrs. Shan was released, she was immediately put into a brainwashing center, where she was tortured. Later, Mrs. Shan repeatedly became the target of arrest by the local 610 Office for clarifying the truth and distributing the truth-clarification materials, and therefore had to leave home to avoid being arrested. On November 5, 2004, Mrs. Shan was arrested by the police from the Yongning County Police Department of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, when she was distributing truth-clarification materials. Mrs. Shan was illegally sentenced to three years of imprisonment and currently is being held in the Women's Prison of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.

3. [Linghai City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Lianjun Arrested
The State Security Division of the Dalian City Police Department arrested practitioner Mr. Li Lianjun from Linghai City in Liaoning Province on the evening of December 28, 2005.
4. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Junhua and Other Practitioners Illegally Sentenced to Forced Labor
Ms. Li Junhua, 56, is a practitioner from the Liyuan Street of Liuxingtou Village in Pingdu City. Ms. Li was arrested at home on October 29, 2005.
Ms. Feng Yuping, 43, is a practitioner from Xiqigou Village in Mencun Town of Pingdu City. Ms. Feng was reported to the police when she was clarifying the truth at a country fair on October 18, 2005. The police forcibly took her away.
Ms. Guo Chaoqing, 52, is a practitioner from Guanzhuang Village in Mencun Town of Pingdu City. She was forcibly arrested at home by police on October 31, 2005 and taken to the Pingdu City Brainwashing Center where she was tortured.
All three practitioners have been transferred and are currently being held in the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp.
5. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Police Ransack the Home of Mr. Zhou Yeping from Shuangliu County
Practitioner Mr. Zhou Yeping from Shuangliu County of Chengdu City in Sichuan Province is thirty-six years old. On the morning of December 28, 2005, when Mr. Zhou was at work, he was arrested by seven to eight police officers from the local 610 Office and the police station. His house was also ransacked.
6. [Jilin Province] Mr. He Bo from the Jilin City Agriculture University Arrested
Practitioner Mr. He Bo, a staff member from the Humanities Institute of Political Science and Law of the Jilin City Agriculture University, was reported to the police when he was clarifying the truth of Falun Dafa and distributing the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to his colleagues. On December 23, 2005, the Jilin City Agriculture University Police Station arrested Mr. He at work. His current whereabouts are unclear.

7. [Shandong Province] Mr. Ma Mingjun from the Luning Management Office of the Petroleum and Chemical Corporation Tortured at His Workplace
In mid November 2005, practitioner Mr. Ma Mingjun from the Lu'ning Management Office of the Petroleum and Chemical Corporation was reading Falun Dafa books on the train and was discovered by police officers, who illegally took him to the Guta Police Station of Zoucheng City in Shandong Province. The Police Station transferred Mr. Ma Mingjun to his work unit. The Management Office of his work unit sent Mr. Ma to his workplace, the Ningyang Pump Station, for "Yan Guan" (Strict Monitoring). The Ningyang Pump Station put Mr. Ma Mingjun under illegal house arrest, not allowing him to go out, go back home, or to meet with his family members.
Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Secretary Wang Liping (male) is also trying to lay off Mr. Ma Mingjun using this as an excuse. He forced Mr. Ma Mingjun to work, but is only paying him 200 yuan as a basic living expense.

8. [Jilin Province] Ms. Liu Chunzhen from the Jingyue Development District of Changchun City Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Liu Chunzhen from Qinjian Village of Yutan Town, in Jingyue Development District of Changchun City, was arrested on the morning of December 24, 2005, by police officers from the Changchun City Agriculture University Police Station when she was distributing Falun Dafa truth-clarification materials. Ms. Liu is currently being held in the Daguang District Detention Center. Her fourteen-year-old son, who attends middle school, has been left home alone.
9. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Jinmei and Ms. Feng Ling Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Liu Jinmei from Shijiazhuangzi Village, Shiqiaozi Town of Zhucheng City in Shandong Province, and Practitioner Ms. Feng Ling from Zhengjiazhuangzi Village, Shiqiaozi Town of Zhucheng City, were both arrested by the police sometime around December 13, 2005, when they went to Shibuzi Town of Anqiu City to distribute Falun Dafa truth-clarification materials. They are currently being held in the Anqiu City Detention Center.

10. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Xu Xiuyun Arrested
Practitioner Ms. Xu Xiuyun from Zhengzhou City in Henan Province is in her sixties. She was reported to the police when she was clarifying the truth in early December, 2005. Ms. Xu is currently being held in the No. 1 Detention Center of Zhengzhou City.
11. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Chen Honglan and Her Daughter Illegally Arrested and Taken to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp
Practitioner Ms. Chen Honglan, her practitioner daughter Ms. Yan Shi, and practitioner Ms. Zhan Guixiang were reported to the police when they were clarifying the truth and distributing truth-clarification materials at a small market of Qianjin Technical School on November 21, 2005. The practitioners were arrested by police from the Jinshan Police Station and also held at the Police Station for one night. Later, the police ransacked Ms. Chen Honglan's House. At the same time, the police took Ms. Zhan Guixiang to search her son's house, but failed to find anything and thus released Ms. Zhan Guixiang. Ms. Chen Honglan and her daughter Ms. Yan Shi were taken to the Ajialing Detention Center of Xing'an County. Recently, these two practitioners were taken to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.
12. [Chongqing City] Ms. Kang Hong Arrested by the State Security Division of Jiangbei District Police Department
On December 22, police from the State Security Division of the Jiangbei District Police Department of Chongqing City arrested practitioner Mr. Kang Hong at the Huangguo Garden where he lived. Mr. Kang Hong previously lived with practitioner Mr. Zhang Quanliang, who was arrested by the police on December 7, 2005, near the Guanyin Bridge Station.
13. [Dancheng County, Henan Province] Ms. Cui Suying and Ms. Niu Xiaohong Illegally Arrested
On the evening of December 16, 2005, practitioners Ms. Cui Suying (an elementary school teacher) and Ms. Niu Xiaohong (a farm worker) were reported to the police when they were distributing truth-clarification materials in a neighboring village. They were arrested and taken to the Police Station of Baji Township. At around 10:00 p.m., the CCP political instructor of the Police Station of Baji Township, Ren Hongwei (male), the deputy director, Li (last name, male), and police officer Wang Huanran (male) from the State Security Division of the County Police Department illegally ransacked Ms. Cui Suying's house. At 2:00 a.m. on December 17, 2005, the police put both practitioners into the Dancheng County East Prison. Family members' visits have been prohibited. On the morning of December 18, 2005, the police illegally ransacked Ms. Niu Xiaohong's house again.

14. [Chengdu City] Mr. Chen Qirui Arrested
On the morning of December 21, 2005, at around 10:00 a.m., a group of police officers from the Shuijing Street Police Station in Jinjiang District of Chengdu City suddenly knocked on the door of practitioner Ms. Chen Qirui's house. Mr. Chen refused to open the door. The police officers broke into his house, arrested Mr. Chen, and also illegally ransacked the house, without following any legal procedures. In the afternoon, the police officers took Mr. Chen Qirui to the Chengdu City Detention Center and held him there as a criminal.
15. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Housheng Arrested
On the afternoon of December 30, 2005, practitioner Mr. Wang Housheng from Jinan City was arrested and sent to Yucheng City.
16. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Ning Shaoheng From Dawa County, Forced to Leave Home to Avoid Arrest, Has Been Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Ning Shaoheng from Dawa County, of Panjin City in Liaoning Province was forced to leave home to avoid being arrested. At noon on December 20, 2005, Mr. Ning returned from out of town to place some luggage in his home and then walked out of the building immediately, but was later arrested by the police from the State Security Division of Beining City Police Department. Mr. Ning is currently being held and tortured in the Beining City Detention Center. Mr. Ning Shaoheng has been on a hunger strike for a week to protest the illegal detention.
