Sydney, Australia: Clarifying the Truth and Collecting Signatures at a Fair in Crows Nest

Oct. 19, 2006 |   By a practitioner from Australia

(Clearwisdom.net) Crows Nest is a small town in North Sydney. There are many ethnic restaurants in the town. Crows Nest is famous for different food culture. On October 15, 2006, there was an annual fair in the town and more than 10 thousand people attended.

Practitioners took the opportunity to clarify the truth. They set up a booth at the fair and collected signatures to condemn the Chinese Communist Party’s crime of harvesting organs.

One practitioner folded paper lotus flowers, while two demonstrated the exercises. Two practitioners passed out truth-clarifying materials and collected signatures.

Practitioners told people about the organ harvesting atrocities and asked them to sign a petition urging the Australian government to take action to stop it.

A young couple accepted the materials. The young man said that he already heard about it from TV and that he knows the CCP is a tyrant. Practitioners told him about the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and the 14 million withdrawals from the party. He was very interested in learning more, so practitioners gave him a copy of the Nine Commentaries.

Practitioners gave a paper lotus flower to a girl who signed the petition, telling her that the flower is a symbol of compassion and purity. The girl was very happy and thanked them.

A big photo in front of the booth shows a demonstration of the Falun Gong exercises. It attracted many tourists. Some of them wanted to know more about Falun Gong and asked for materials. A lady asked what the difference is between Falun Gong and other qigong, since she practices another qigong. Practitioners answered her patiently, and told her that she can get free information from several websites. A Chinese lady and a Western gentleman also wanted to learn Falun Gong. The Chinese lady bought a copy of Zhuan Falun. The Western gentleman was happy to learn about exercise sites in Sydney.

An older practitioner collected signatures from people who had booths at the fair. She collected more than 200 signatures.

The activity was a success and practitioners were glad that more people learned the truth.
