Investigation Leads: Beijing Friendship Hospital Performed More than 100 Organ Transplant Operations in April and May (and Other Leads)

Nov. 12, 2006

(Clearwisdom.net) After the horrifying discovery of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners and the immediate cremation of their bodies to destroy the evidence was exposed on March 4, 2006, the Falun Dafa Association and the Minghui/Clearwisdom websites founded the "Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China" (CIPFG; also called "Coalition to Investigate the Persecution") exactly one month later. The CIPFG is collecting information from people who have come forward and is calling on people who know the truth to further expose the crimes concerning illegal organ harvesting in China. We call on all people of conscience to lend their help to expose the facts of this vicious persecution of Falun Gong practitioners inside secret concentration camps, forced labor camps, prisons and hospitals in Mainland China. The sooner this atrocity is fully exposed, the sooner this brutal persecution will end. Below is information that came to light recently.

Investigation Lead: Beijing Friendship Hospital Performed More than 100 Organ Transplants in April and May

An acquaintance of mine is working at the Beijing Friendship Hospital and is actively participating in organ transplants. Recently, this person told me that during April and May many transplants were performed daily. At its peak, ten transplants were performed during a single day. In total, the hospital has performed more than 100 transplants during the two-month period. This acquaintance has participated in many of the aforementioned surgeries. In June, after the government issued a document requiring the signatures of family members before harvesting organs, the number of transplants decreased.

According to the October 26 B08 section "Daily Health" column of the East Today (newspaper), the No. 5 People's Hospital of Zhengzhou City had performed 42 cornea transplants. In addition, they still held 38 eyeballs on ice. How could a hospital gain access to so many eyeballs within such a short time?

Investigation Lead: Heart Transplant at Fifth Hospital of Zhengzhou

On October 21, 2006, in Henan Province, the A4 section of the Zhengzhou Evening newspaper published a detailed article about the first heart transplant ever performed at the Fifth Hospital of Zhengzhou. According to the article, the patient arrived at the hospital on September 24 at 11:00 a.m. The transplant was performed at 11:00 p.m. on September 27th. The hospital was able to find a matching heart in only 3 days. Such a short time frame raises the question as to how and where the Fifth Hospital of Zhengzhou found a matching heart for this surgery.
