Before the parade, many people from Nordic countries who are concerned about the human rights situation in China came to the Chinese Embassy to support the sixteen million people who have resigned from the CCP and to protest against the CCP's violations of human rights.

At midday, the parade started from the Chinese Embassy, passing through the busy High street, proceeding along the Royal Garden and Oslo's main road, and finally arriving in front of Congress to hold a rally.

December 10 was World Human Rights Day. As it was also the weekend, there were many people on the streets of Oslo. When the parade marched down the main thoroughfare, many passersby stopped to watch. The parade was lead by a police car, followed by a waist-drum team consisting of over ten drummers wearing traditional yellow Chinese costumes. The parade team was smoothly moving to the stirring drum beats and the song, "Quitting the CCP." Behind the waist-drum team there were two women wearing traditional Chinese clothing, distributing folded paper lotus flowers to children, as well as truth-clarification materials exposing the evil party and supporting the withdrawals from the CCP. Children and their parents were pleasantly surprised to receive the lotus flowers. At the end of the parade was a four-meter-high banner with Chinese characters reading, "Heaven Extinguishes the CCP." A well dressed gentleman pointed to the banner and asked what the words meant. When he was told that the translation is, "Heaven extinguishes the CCP," he gave the thumbs-up sign and said, "I support you!" Many Norwegians expressed genuine appreciation upon receiving the truth-clarification materials.

At 2:00 p.m., the parade arrived in front of the Norwegian Congress for a rally. Four representatives made speeches supporting the sixteen million withdrawals from the CCP and to expose the CCP's evil acts. Ms. Jiang, now living in Finland, exposed the CCP's "6.4" bloody massacre in 1989, which she witnessed. She quit the CCP publicly at that time and soon she was subjected to brutal persecution and torture. Ms Dai from Norway recounted her experience of being tortured, which resulted in losing sight in her left eye. Ms. Liu from Norway appealed to the international community to rescue her younger sister, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Jing Liu, currently illegally imprisoned by the CCP. The last speaker, from Sweden, appealed to the international community to pay attention to the tide of quitting the CCP in China, be aware of the CCP's evil nature, and understand the fact that the CCP is coming to an end.

The rally concluded at 3:30 p.m. Two big lotus flowers symbolizing purity were given to the police who were on duty at the rally. Pleased, the police officers said, "Thank you very much, we will certainly take the lotus flowers back and decorate our station with them."
