Central News Agency: Hu Followed Closely by Protesting Groups Wherever He Goes During His Visit to the U.S.

April 22, 2006

(Clearwisdom.net) The Central News Agency reported on April 18, 2006 that the head of the Chinese Communist Party Hu Jintao started his visit to the U.S. today. On his first stop, Seattle, wherever he went, there were protesting groups. They held signs, shouted slogans, attacking the CCP's brutal treatment of Falun Gong practitioners and demanding the release of dissidents.

On the roadside outside the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in downtown Seattle, where Hu stayed, there were dozens of protesters who held huge banners. When Hu's motorcade passed by, they used their loudspeaker to attract his attention.

Falun Gong practitioners held signs outside the hotel that read, "Nazi-like Concentration Camps that Slaughter People Recurring in China."

The protesting groups followed Hu Jintao to wherever he went, including Microsoft headquarters. They gathered and waited for him at the corner of streets on the way. Several Falun Gong practitioners did sitting meditation on the lawn outside the Microsoft headquarters.

A sign set up beside them read, "Falun Dafa is Good." The CCP has arrested and detained tens of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners since 1999.
