1. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Ms. Ma Chunli on the Brink of Death Due to Abuses
Ms. Ma Chunli from Dehui City, Jilin Province, was arrested by Dehui Public Security Bureau on December 14, 2004. She has been jailed at Dehui City Detention Center for over a year and a half now. Due to her long-term hunger strike and suffering other abuses, her life is in grave danger. In addition, she has been sentenced to six years of imprisonment. She is now being held at Changchun Hospital by the Public Security Bureau to endure further persecution.
2. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Local Police Station Arrests Ms. Wang
On June 3, 2006, at 6:00 p.m., Ms. Wang, a practitioner from Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province, was arrested by the Jiamusi City Police Station. She is being jailed at the local detention center.
3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wu Shuyan and Three Other Practitioners Illegally Arrested
Mrs. Wu Shuyan, 40, was talking to people about the truth of Falun Gong in Dadong District on May 24, 2006. Her home was ransacked that same night. One computer, three printers and many other materials were taken away. Mr. Ma Jiang, husband of Wu Shuyan and employee of the Liming Corporation, was deceived into going to the police station to pick up something. He was arrested as well. Ms. Kong, 40 years old, was also arrested at the same time.
Currently, Mrs. Wu Shuyan and Ms. Kong are being jailed at Shenyang Detention Center and Ma Jiang in Bakeshu Detention Center in Dadong District.

4. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Zhang Xiaoyu and Wang Yuzheng Sentenced Illegally to Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Zhang Xiaoyu and Ms. Wang Yuzheng from Wanghua District, Fushun City were distributing truth materials in Hepingjiayuan Neighborhood of Wanghua District when they were spotted by the security officer who was monitoring the surveillance camera. The two were arrested and detained at Nangou Detention Center in Fushun City.
On June 1, 2006, Ms. Zhang Xiaoyu and Ms. Wang Yuzheng were sentenced to a forced labor camp for one year in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, Liaoning province.
5. [Qinggang County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Cui Shufen and Two Other Practitioners Illegally Jailed at Beijiansuo, in Qinggang County
On April 27, 2006, Ms. Cui Shufen, Mr. Wang Chunyu and Mr. Li Zhiwen were illegally arrested after being followed by the police from Minqiang Police Station when they were distributing truth materials. They are being held at Beijiansuo. The production site that these practitioners maintained was destroyed.
6. [Luannan County, Hebei Province] Practitioners Mr. Liu Zongyong and Ms. Zhang Lianzhi Sentenced
Mr. Liu Zongyong from Luannan County, Hebei Province was sentenced to six years and jailed at Jidong Prison. Ms. Zhang Lianzhi was sentenced to four years and jailed at Shijiazhuang Prison.
7. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Zheng Xiufang Sentenced to Kaiping Forced Labor Camp to be Persecuted
Ms. Zheng Xiufang, from Tanghai Township, Tanghai County, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, was arrested on April 24, 2006. Her home was subsequently ransacked by the Communist Party Commission of Tanghai County, the local public security bureau and police station. On May 12, she was sentenced to a forced labor camp for one year and is being held at Kaiping Forced Labor Camp.
8. [Jianshui County, Yunnan Province] Ms. Peng Wenxiu Illegally Arrested for Clarifying the Truth about Falun Gong
Someone tipped off the police when Ms. Peng Wenxiu was clarifying the truth about Falun Gong to people. On June 3, 2004, local police, led by the county 610 Office, ransacked her home. As a result of her arrest, several practitioners were illegally detained and a dozen of the practitioners were sent to a brainwashing center and one to a forced labor camp.
9. [Nanle County, Henan Province] Perpetruaators Responsible for the Persecution of Practitioner Mr. Li Tiange
On April 26, 2006, Mr. Li Tiange was arrested by police from Nanle County, Henan Province and jailed at the Qingfeng County Detention Center. He suffered from beatings by the police that have left him unable to walk. Not only was he not released, his relatives have not been allowed to see him.

In September 2005, Mr. Zhu Shidui, on his way home from work, was arrested by police from the Zhanqian Police Station in Maoming City, Guangdong Province. His home was later ransacked. In March, 2006, he was sentenced to three years in a forced labor camp.

12. [Pingjiang, Hunan Province] Ms. Li Yanru Arrested by Local National Security Brigade
At 5:00 a.m. on May 24, 2006, National Security Brigade police officer Li Jianzhou and other police officers followed Ms. Li Yanru’s truck, then dragged her out of the truck and took her to Pingjiang County Detention Center.

While distributing truth-clarification materials, Ms. Chang Jianzhen, 60-year-old, a retiree of the Radio & TV Bureau of Hunan Province, was arrested on June 3, 2006, in Wangyuehu area, by Wangyuehu Police Station, Yuelu District, Changsha City.
18. [Chenxi County, Hunan Province] Numerous Practitioners Persecuted
Towards the end of May, 2006, Mr. Shi Shenglan, Mr. Xiang Liuliu and Ms. Mi were arrested by local police when they were distributing materials in the nearby Xupu County, Hunan Province. They are being held at the Chenxi County Detention Center.
The township staff stormed into the home of Mr. Shi Shenglan and took away Teacher’s portrait, Dafa books and some cash. In addition, they demanded 1000 yuan from the family members of Ms. Mi and 1000 yuan from the family members of Mr. Xiang.

21. [Pengshan County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Ye Zhifang Arrested by Police
Ms. Ye Zhifang, 58, a retiree of the Jiangkou Township Supply & Marketing Cooperative, Pengshan County, lives near the county’s Cement Factory. At approximately 8:00 p.m. on May 6, 2006, she was distributing truth-clarification materials near the Chengxin Office Building. Someone informed on her peaceful activities to the police. Police from the Lingshi Township Police Station arrested her on her way home to the police station. At 9:00 p.m. her home was ransacked. They took away the book Zhuan Falun, and other books and CD versions of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. She is now jailed in the Pengshan County Detention Center.

22. [Qingyuan County, Guangdong Province] Ms. He Yanping and Other Practitioners Illegally Jailed
Between February and March 2006, a number of practitioners from Qingyuan County, Guangdong Province were arrested. So far, it has been learned that Mr. He Qiang, Ms. He Yanping, Ms. Zhen, Ms. Lian, Ms. Xia, Mr. Ren and Mr. Lin were jailed in the Qingyuan Detention Center waiting for trial.
