(Clearwisdom.net) On May 13th, to celebrate Falun Dafa Day, Dafa disciples from Gothenburg and peripheral cities held a series of activities in a beautiful park to let people know about the wonderful benefits of practicing Falun Gong, and to expose the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
They also displayed paintings created by practitioner artists from many different backgrounds. These artists all have benefited both physically and spiritually from practicing Falun Gong, and obtained deeper understanding about the true meaning of the universe and life. In their artworks, they expressed their understanding and experiences. The art exhibition also depicted the peaceful path which Falun Gong practitioners have walked in resisting the most brutal persecution during the past seven years.
Many people stopped to look at the paintings and listened to practitioners' explanations about the stories behind the artworks.
A Western man said, "I can feel a strong energy field, every painting is very good. Through them I can clearly see the CCP's brutal persecution against Falun Gong."
Two young women earnestly listened to practitioners while looking carefully at the pictures. They paused for a long time in front of each painting. Even when urged by their friends to leave, they were still unwilling to move and they asked their friends several times to wait for a moment. With tears in their eyes, they told practitioners, "We have heard of Falun Gong and 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance,' as well as the persecution before, but we didn't know this persecution was so atrocious." They indicated that they would bring up the situation of Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted by the CCP as a topic for a special project, in order to spread the truth of the persecution to more people.
A mother looked at the paintings for a very long time with her daughter. The mother liked the picture, "Vow" a great deal, and said she wished that it was hanging in her living room. The daughter was attracted to "The Lotus Heart." She looked at it again and again and was very reluctant to leave.
