1. [Changde City, Hunan Province] Several Falun Dafa Practitioners Including Ms. Zhang Chuntao Arrested in 2005
Changde City National Security Bureau conducted an illegal large-scale arrest of Falun Dafa practitioners on December 20, 2005. Right now, seven practitioners are illegally detained. They are: Ms. Zhang Chuntao, Ms. Yin Hong, Mr. Yang Bin, Ms. Wang Xiaoqun, Ms. Shi Yuhua, Ms. Yang Dongzhi, and Ms. He Silian. They are being held at the No. 1 Detention Center and at the No. 2 Detention Center in Changde City. Practitioner Zhang Chuntao, who is 58 years old, has been on a hunger strike for more than two months to resist the evil persecution. She is skin and bones and is on the brink of death.
2. [Hubei Province] Practitioner Ms. Chu Lin on Hunger Strike for Many Days After Arrest
Practitioners Ms. Chu Lin and Ms. Li Junzhen from Hubei Province were arrested. Officers from the Sancha Police Department did this on June 27, 2006, when the ladies were clarifying the truth in Sancha. They were sent to the Xilu Brainwashing Center in Huangpi, Xiaogan later that same day. Ms. Chu began a hunger strike the day of the arrest. The strike has lasted seven days.
Ms. Chu is 52 years old and has been arrested eight or nine times. She was held at the Wuhan Women’s Prison between 2002 and 2003 and was savagely tortured for six months for persisting in her belief. She was savagely beaten, tied up, forced to stand for long periods of time, hung up with her hands tied behind her ,and subjected to week-long sleep deprivation. The officials forbade her to wash or to change her clothes in the heat of summer. Her home was also ransacked many times
After she left prison, she and her daughter, Zhu Yi, could not return home because of the persecution.

3. [Tianjin] Four Practitioners Including Ms. Dong Guiying Currently on a Persecution Protest Hunger Strike
Practitioners Ms. Dong Guiying, Ms. Wang Jingxiang, Ms. Wang Zhongfeng, and Mr. Xing Shujian from the Dongli District of Tianjin were arrested on June 20, 2006. They have been on a hunger strike since and are still being held at the Dongli Detention Center.
4. [Zaoqiang County, Hebei Province] Practitioner Mr. Zhang Wenjing Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor by Zaoqiang County Police Department and Sent to the Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp
5. [Lianping County, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yang Huixiang Sentenced to Forced Labor
Practitioner Ms. Yang Huixiang is from Lianping County, Guangdong Province. Her husband, Luo Weiren, who was deceived by the CCP regime's propaganda about Falun Gong, forced her to leave home in 2005. Police arrested her when she was distributing truth clarification materials in Wuhua County, Guangdong Province. Ms. Yang was later sentenced to forced labor.
6. [Changsha City, Hunan Province] Mr. Zhou Tianqi’s Whereabouts Unknown After Arrest
Practitioner Mr. Zhou Tianqi is in his 40s and lived in Changsha City, Hunan Province. He was arrested 14 times and sent to labor camp(s). Officers from the Longzhouping Town Police Department in Changyang, Hubei Province arrested him in November 2005. His current whereabouts are unknown.

7. [Jinhua, Zhejiang Province] In June 2006, Dafa Practitioners Ms. Tang Baozhi and Her Daughter, Chen Yao, Were Sentenced to Five Years and Three-and-Half Years in Prison, Respectively
8. [Xinle City, Hebei Province] Ms. Guo Yueqiao Arrested
At 9:30 p.m. on June 22, 2006, practitioner Ms. Guo Yueqiao was washing clothes inside her own backyard in Xiaoliu Village, Hantai Town, Xinle City, Hebei Province. Several police officers suddenly broke inside her home and dragged her into a police car. They took her to the Hantai Town Police Department and held her there overnight. The next day they took her to the National Security Division of Xinle City Police Department. They sent her to the Matoupu Detention Center in Xinle City the third day after capturing her.
9. [Beijing] Supplemental Information on the Arrest of Practitioner Ms. Song Nan and Her Parents
Practitioners Ms. Cui Shufeng and Mr. Song Jianzhong, parents of practitioner Ms. Song Nan, were arrested from home around 10 a.m. on February 28, 2006. The police took them to the Dongba Police Department. They also confiscated some Dafa materials from their home. At the same time, agents from the Wangjing police took Ms. Song Nan away from her home. The three practitioners were transferred to the Chaoyang Detention Center. One month later they were sentenced to forced labor and sent to the Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp. Ms. Cui Shufeng was sentenced to two years of forced labor; Ms. Song Jianzhong was sentenced to two years and Ms. Song Nan to two-and-a-half years.
10. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Ms. Cui Minghu, Political Science Teacher the Faku No. 3 Middle School, Was Detained for 15 Days Beginning May 22, 2006
11. [Baishan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Qu Shaochun Arrested
On June 27, 2006, Dafa practitioner Ms. Qu Shaochun was reported when clarifying the truth to her neighbors. Officers from the Wangou Town Forestry Police Department arrested her. She is now being held at a local detention center.
12. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Shang Shuqin and Ms. Gong Qingxi Arrested
During the morning of July 4, 2006, officers from the Xiaocheng Town Police Precinct, along with the Shulan City Police Department in Jilin Province, broke into the homes of practitioners Ms. Shang Shuqin and Ms. Gong Qingxi and ransacked them. They arrested the two practitioners under duress.
13. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Practitioners Mr. Xu Qian and Ms. Ding Shuhua Arrested
Personnel from the Dongcheng Police Station, Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province, arrested practitioners Mr. Xu Qian and Ms. Ding Shuhua from Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The practitioners were living in exile at their current residence in Lingyuan City. The arrest happened during the morning of July 3, 2006.

14. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Personnel from the Hulan Prison Persecute a Practitioner’s Family
Mr. Che Limin, husband of a practitioner, helped to distribute some truth-clarifying materials and was thus sentenced to three-and-a-half years of imprisonment. He is in the No. 3 Team at Hulan Prison. On June 25, 2006, guard Lu Yunlei beat Mr. Che severely, only because he refused to do heavy prison labor.
15. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Jiang Xingwang Arrested Once Again
Personnel from the Cicai Security Section of Liaohe Oil Field and from the Liaozhong County Police Department once again arrested practitioner Mr. Jiang Xingwang at a building site in Ciyutuo Town, Liaozhong County. The practitioner was released after being detained for several hours and paying an extortion fee of 25,000 yuan.
16. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Mr. Kong Kuanxin Arrested
Some plainclothes police arrested practitioner Mr. Kong Kuanxin from Xinji City while he was persuading people to quit the Chinese Communist Party and its related organizations. Mr. Kong is now being held on the fifth floor of the police department.
17. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Practitioner Ms. Lan Zhi Taken to a Brainwashing Center
Practitioner Ms. Lan Zhi from Baifo Village was taken to a brainwashing center. Baifo Village Public Security Committee dispatched two personnel to monitor her.
18. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Autonomous Region] Practitioner Mr. Ma Zhiwu Continues to Be Tortured
Practitioner Mr. Ma Zhiwu from Yinchuan City was sentenced to six years of imprisonment in October 2001. During the past five years, police and inmates have subjected Mr. Ma to all kinds of excruciating tortures including severe beatings with rubber tubes, pick axe handles, rubber sticks, shocking with electric batons, sleep deprivation for half a month, and being hung up by handcuffs fastened behind his back for two months. They also hung a box of bricks around his neck and forced him to carry sand bags on his legs. He staged six hunger strikes that lasted for over 50 days.

19. [Nanzhao County, Henan Province] Mr. Chen Jian Arrested
610 Office personnel arrested practitioner Mr. Chen Jian from Li Village, Xiaodian Township, Nanzhao County, Henan Province, at a truth-clarifying material production site in Yunyang Town on June 10, 2006. All the equipment there was confiscated.
20. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Mr. Gao Peifang Arrested
Severa. people took practitioner Mr. Gao Peifang from Weifang City, Shandong Province, to the local police station at around 3:00 p.m. on July 4, 2006. It happened when he was clarifying the truth near Wenzhuang Village, Junpukou Town, Weifang City. At around 5:00 p.m. he was transferred to the Weifang City Detention Center for further persecution.
21. [Beijing] Practitioners Ms. Wang Kuizan, Ms. Jiang Yahui and Ms. Chang Chunyu Sentenced to Forced Labor
Practitioners Ms. Chang Chunyu, Ms. Wang Kuizan and Ms. Jiang Yahui from Beijing, who were arrested on the evening of April 4, 2006, were sentenced to two years of forced labor. They were transferred to a forced labor personnel transition center located at Tuanhe in the Daxing District in Beijing.

23. [Hebei Province] Practitioners Ms. Wang Xinying and Ms. Zhang Cairong from Hebei University of Technology Held at a Brainwashing Center
Ms. Wang Xinying, an instructor at Hebei University of Technology in Langfang City, went to Tiananmen Square in Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in 2000. She was afterwards held in the university She escaped but was found and held at a detention center for nine months and then transferred to the Bazhou Brainwashing Center for persecution. Feng Guoji from the National Security Team arrested her once again from the university in May 2006. She has been held at a brainwashing center for nearly two months.
Personnel from the local 610 Office recently arrested practitioner Ms. Zhang Cairong, an instructor at the university, and transported her to a brainwashing center.

24. [Beijing] The Practitioner Couple Mr. Zhang Jijiang and Ms. Zhang Guirong Arrested
Officer Zhang Wang from the Jiuxianqiao Police Station arrested practitioners Mr. Zhang Jijiang and his wife, Ms. Zhang Guirong, from the Changyang District, Beijing, at 8:00 p.m. on July 1, 2006, and put them into the district’s detention center.

26. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Supplemental Information on the Persecution of Mr.
Practitioner Mr. Shao Chengluo lived in Liuting Street, the Chengyang District, Qingdao City, Shandong Province, and was arrested the morning of May 12, 2006. He is being held and tortured at the Chengyang Detention Center located in Li Village, the Licang District.
27. [Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province] Practitioner Ms. Pan Yingchun, 26 Years Old, Was Arrested the Afternoon of June 22, 2006.
28. [Jinchang City, Gansu Province] Mr. Li Yuanji and Other Practitioners Arrested
Personnel from the Wuwei Security Bureau arrested practitioner Mr. Li Yuanji, the principal of Xigou Middle School in Shuiyuan Town, Jinchang City, Gansu Province. Also arrested was his wife, practitioner Ms. Li Jinji. The couple are teachers at the Shuiyuan Middle School. The arrest happened between 6:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. on June 23, 2006. Police also confiscated Li Jinji’s two computers.
29. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Disappearance of Practitioner Mr. Wang Yonggang from the Dongxihu District Since His May 18, 2006, Placement in the Etouwan Brainwashing Center
30. [Baiyin City, Gansu Province] Practitioner Ms. Yue Wenfang Is Arrested Again
At about 9:00 a.m. on June 22, 2006, a dozen people from the Jingyuan County Police Brigade in Baiyin City, Gansu Province, drove several cars to Ms. Yue Wenfang's home in the Xicheng District and arrested her. Ms. Yue was arrested and sentenced. She had been just released not long ago.
31. [Yuzhou City, Henan Province] Practitioner Mr. Yin Haifeng Arrested
Practitioner Mr. Yin Haifeng, 35 years old, is from the Dongguan No.3 Team of the Yinchuan Agency in Yuzhou City. He was arrested the night of June 30, 2006, for displaying a Falun Dafa banner. His house was ransacked on July 1. A copier and some other personal belongings were confiscated. He is currently being held at the Yuzhou City Detention Center.
Practitioners Li Zhenting and Wang Yongsheng are also being held and persecuted there.
32. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Three Practitioners Including Ms. Zhang Xiaoping Arrested
Ms. Zhang Xiaoping is a practitioner from Tuanzhou Tonwship, Huarong County, Yueyang City, Hunan Province. When she was teaching on June 5, 2006, four 610 Office agents barged into the classroom and arrested her. They sent Ms. Zhang to the Huarong County Detention Center. Her house was searched.
Before this, another two practitioners, Ms. Peng Xiaohua and Ms. Xiang Yuying, were put into the detention center.
33. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Qian Guoyu Has Chosen to Live in Exile; Nobody Takes Care of Her Husband
Practitioner Ms. Qian Guoyu is from the Qingshan District of Wuhan City. Six or seven policemen from the Yejin Street Police Precinct in the Qingshan District colluded with personnel from the street residential committee and broke into Ms. Qian's home the morning of June 26, 2006. They took her to the police precinct and attempted to send her to a brainwashing center for further persecution, but Ms. Qian escaped. Ms. Qian has opted to live in exile to avoid illegal arrest.
34. [Rushan City, Shandong Province] Regarding Practitioner Ms. Feng Xilan and Other Information
Ms. Feng Xilan is a practitioner from Rushan City. She was transferred from a detention center to an unknown location.
Practitioner Gao Sumin is still being held at the detention center.
Practitioner Song Jinping was released because of extremely poor health resulting from brutal tortures in the detention center.
The Rushan City truth-clarifying material production center was destroyed, and the loss amounted to about 40,000 yuan.
