According to the Sound of Hope on August 8, 2006, after pastor of the Taiwan Presbyterian Church Luo Rongguang learned that the CCP harvests organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, he invited director of the Taiwan Falun Dafa Association, Professor Chang Ching-hsi, to come to make a speech. Speakers also included Dr. Hu Naiwen from Shanghai Tongrentang in Taiwan.

Pastor Luo Rongguang said, "No matter which religions, people from which countries, when they suffer such kind of persecution, and life is threatened and persecuted, all religious believers should stand up. So we hold this meeting in hope of awakening more Christians, no matter which churches they are in, to show concern over China’s human rights issues."

The pastor expressed that human rights are universal values, with no differentiation between religions, countries and ideologies. Through praying, we hope that Taiwanese people will show concern over the China’s human rights issues.

The church invited Chang Ching-hsi from the Falun Dafa Association to give a speech titled, "Pay Attention to the CCP’s Organ Harvesting from Living Falun Gong Practitioners." The church prayed for persecuted Falun Gong practitioners and also for China’s human rights.

Deputy Secretary of the European Union Association for Taiwan Area said, "I’m really surprised. In such a progressive world, there is still such a government that harvests organs from living people."

Taiwan Legislative member Huang Shizhuo said that we should stand up to support Falun Gong and persecuted Falun Gong practitioners.
