(Clearwisdom.net) On August 15, 2006, Ms. Fu Chen from Dallas, Texas, and Mr. Tony Dang from Austin, Texas, came to the State Capitol of Texas in Austin, to raise awareness about their family members who are imprisoned by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) because of practicing Falun Gong. They called for help to rescue them. Practitioners from Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio came to the rally. As part of the event, practitioners re-enacted the CCP’s atrocity of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, to expose their brutality.

Calling for help to rescue Falun Gong practitioners in China

Re-enacting the CCP’s harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners

The CCP labor camps are notorious throughout the world. It is known that the CCP jails people without any due process of law. Since 1999, the CCP has sent many Falun Gong practitioners to labor camps, where they were tortured, and thousands of them have died.

Ms. Fu’s parents were sentenced to two years in a labor camp

Ms. Fu discussing her parents’ situation

Ms. Fu is a 30-year-old graduate student at the University of Texas. From her relatives in Beijing, she learned that her 60-year-old parents were sentenced to two years in a labor camp. They were sent to Tuanhe Labor Camp in Beijing. Ms. Fu said, "My parents were arrested from home in March. They were jailed in Qinghe Detention Center in the Haidian District. The policemen said that the arrest was because my parents had visited some banned websites. The policemen didn’t allow my relatives to see my parents in the detention center. I know that my parents didn’t do anything wrong. I hope that they will be released as soon as possible. But recently, I heard that they were sentenced to two years in a labor camp."

During the Cultural Revolution, Ms. Fu's parents were sent to a farm labor camp in Jiangxi and they contracted an illness called Schistosomiasis. In this illness, parasites invade the host's blood system, then spread throughout the body. No medicine is able to cure this illness. After Ms. Fu's parents came back to Beijing, they went through an "experimental treatment." The physician combated poison with poison and attempted to kill the parasites. Her mother's condition worsened and her nervous system began to be affected. She had to take large amounts of medicine on a daily basis to control the illness. Ms. Fu's father previously had a kidney stone. After her parents began practicing Falun Dafa in 1995, their health noticeably improved; her father's kidney stone disappeared, and her mother was cured without any medicine.

Ms. Fu is worried about her parents. She said, "My brother visited them in Tuanhe Labor Camp. My father was very skinny and weak. He didn’t get to see my mother. I am very worried about them. I hope that more people will stand up and help me, and ask the CCP to release them. My parents are innocent. I hope that they will be released as soon as possible."

High school teacher in Yingzhou, Shandong province was sentenced to two years in a labor camp

Mr. Tony Dang, a medical researcher in Austin, Texas, told people that his sister, Dang Xiuli, a high school teacher in Yingzhou, Shandong Province, was arrested by policemen from Zaozhuang, because she clarified the truth of Falun Gong to her students. Mr. Dang said, "My sister is an English teacher at the Fourth High School in Yingzhou. She clarified the truth to her students in July. Several days later, policemen broke into her house and took her away. Her house was searched and policemen confiscated her Falun Gong books."

According to an investigation by the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG), the order to arrest Dang Xiuli came from Li Yumei, the vice governor of Shandong Province, who is in charge of the 610 Office. Li Yumei also gave the order to fire the principal of the Fourth High School in Yingzhou. Li Yumei became the vice governor in January 2006. Li has been involved in many persecution cases of Falun Gong practitioners in Shandong in 2006. Li was the secretary of the CCP Committee in Lanwu City, and in charge of the 610 Office in Laiwu. Li Yumei was placed on WOIPFG’s investigation list in 2003.

According a report on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website, Dang Xiuli was sentenced to two years in a forced labor camp. Mr. Dang said, "Currently, she is in Jinan. I don’t know if she is in the prison or labor camp. I guess that she is in the labor camp, because the policemen took her away without any lawful documents. I am worried about her. The CCP ignores the law and persecutes Falun Gong practitioner. Today, we re-enact the CCP’s harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. To stop the persecution, we need expose its brutality, so that jailed practitioners like my sister will be released as soon as possible."

Exposing the CCP’s persecution

Ms. Cuixi from San Antonio discussed the result of the investigation of the CCP’s harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioner, conducted by the Canadian independent investigation group, which substantiated the allegations that organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in China exists. The CCP harvests organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit. Ms. Cuixi said that the international community should stand up to stop this crime against humanity.

Through the event in Austin, many citizens learned about the persecution and signed their names on the petition to support Falun Gong and call for an end to the persecution. People were shocked by the CCP’s brutality. Some people took photos of the organ harvesting re-enactment and told practitioners that they would tell more people about it.
