Participants in the parade held a variety of display boards and banners supporting quitting the CCP. The waist drum troupe vigorously performed, and tourists on the Brooklyn Bridge took photos to record these precious moments.

When the parade procession passed Fuli Square in Manhattan, the Divine Land Marching Band joined the parade. Majestic music penetrated the sky over Chinatown. Business persons, vendors and passersby all stopped and watched. When the procession finally arrived in Roosevelt Park, they held a rally for about two hours. Many people congregated and watched.

Spokesperson for the Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP Dr. Li Dayong, representative of the Global Mission to Rescue Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners Mr. Xiao Jin, deputy chief-editor of the Epoch Times Dr. Huang Wanqing, Aunty Tang, a victim whose family was brutally persecuted by the CCP and some people who love freedom and democracy from some communities made speeches at the rally, to celebrate more than 13 million brave Chinese people quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

Dr. Li Dayong said that the actual number of people who had quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations far exceeded the 13 million. Many announcements for quitting the CCP could not reach overseas due to various reasons. These announcements were posted on streets and lanes, and on Chinese currency. More and more people are awakening. "Today, we rally here to support these 13 million brave people, at the same time, we support the veteran pilot from the Shanghai-based China Eastern Airlines, Yuan Sheng. He was reported for spreading the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and interrogated by the CCP police. He was forced to stay in the United States to seek political asylum. Yuan Sheng has specifically stated that both inside and outside China the message and spreading of the Nine Commentaries is a grand trend of quitting the CCP in mainland China.

A volunteer from the Service Center for Quitting the CCP in Chinatown told the reporter that a country fellow, Yuan Sheng, told him the day before yesterday at the service center that people in Yuan Sheng’s hometown are proud of him.

Mr. Xiao Jin from the Global Rescue talked about the CCP’s merciless killing history and the CCP’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners during the past seven years, and pointed out that the CCP owes countless bloody debts, and it is inevitable that Heaven will eliminate it. Quitting the CCP as soon as possible is a wise decision.

Dr. Huang Wanqing from the Epoch Times said that the CCP has reached its dead end. They arrested renowned lawyer Gao Zhisheng recently in an attempt to make use of people’s attention to him to distract people’s attention to the incident of Yuan Sheng seeking asylum. The CCP is fundamentally afraid of the public seeing the powerful trend of people quitting the CCP. Gao Zhisheng wrote three times to Hu and Wen to strive for fundamental human rights for Falun Gong, so we are here to support lawyer Gao Zhisheng. The CCP is frightened by the surge of quitting the CCP, and it is very much cognizant of its imminent collapse. We hope the Chinese people to spread the Nine Commentaries, see clearly the CCP’s evil nature and quit the CCP as soon as possible so as not to be implicated upon its collapse.

Aunty Tang, whose family was brutally persecuted by the CCP, recounted the brutal persecution imposed upon families of hers and her friend’s during the Great Cultural Revolution. This time, when Aunty Tang told her relatives inside China to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, they said, "We have longed for this day for a long time."

During the rally, the Divine Land Marching Band and waist drum troupe gave performances several times to congratulate the 13 million Chinese people on breaking away from the control of the CCP’s evil specter. One young man who was watching the rally immediately wrote a written statement on the spot, "I want to quit the Youth League and Young Pioneers."
