(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Yao Guizhi from Tangshan City, Hebei Province, was arrested while passing out truth clarification materials at the beginning of 2006. She was sentenced to 18 months of forced labor and sent to Kaiping Forced Labor Camp by officers of Chaoyangdao Police Station.
Ms. Yao Guizhi lives in the Yuhualou Neighborhood, Tangshan City. She lives on the income that she receives from selling items at a booth in the market. Before practicing Falun Dafa, her health had deteriorated, and because of her limited finances, she sought to be a cured through religious rituals. They did not help.
One day in 2003, a Falun Dafa practitioner told her, "If you recite 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forberance is good' and 'Falun Dafa is good 'you will receive blessings, and your health will recover." Ms. Yao followed the advice, and her health truly recovered. It was then that she began to cultivate Dafa.
After beginning cultivation, Ms. Yao became very healthy, her xinxing improved, and she no longer easily became angry. It had been agreed that Ms. Yao's mother-in-law would be cared for by her second son, but he neglected his duty, so Ms. Yao brought her mother-in-law home to care for her.
Ms. Yao disciplined herself in her daily life according to the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." One time, the wholesale trader charged her 300 yuan less than he should have when he sold her sunflower seeds. When she discovered this, she sent the wholesale trader the rest of the money the very next day.
Ms. Yao Guizhi's older sister lives in Luan County. She had a strange ailment that made her curse at everyone she saw. No one dared to approach her. Her symptoms continued to get worse even though she visited many doctors. With the help of Falun Dafa, she woke up from that mental state. This inspired many people to begin cultivation of Falun Dafa.
Because of the benefits Falun Dafa brought to both her and her sister, Ms. Yao told many people about the wonderfulness of Falun Dafa.
