3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Couple Shao Zhenkun and Han Xueyan Arrested; No One Left to Take Care of Their Child
Mr. Shao Zhenkun and Ms. Han Xueyan, a practitioner couple, live in Apartment 2409, 24th Floor, Xinghuayuan, Erdao District, Changchun City. Personnel from the Erdao District's Dongsheng Police Station arrested them on the morning of August 16, 2006. When their family members asked for their whereabouts, police told them to call 86-431-4943689. They called the number and were informed that the couple had been sent to the Shuangyang City No.3 Detention Center.
In 2002, the husband and wife were sentenced to three and two years respectively of forced labor for practicing Falun Gong. Shao Zhenkun still has a disabled leg from torture during the forced labor term. Their child is left at home without care.

11. [Beijing] Supplementary Information Regarding the Persecution of Practitioner Qi Shilan and Others
Practitioner Ms. Qi Shilan, in her 60s, lives in the No. 2 Section of the Gaojiayuan Residential Area in the Chaoyang District, Beijing. She is a retired employee of the Beijing Radio Tube Factory. Police arrested her at home on February 24, 2006, and then held her at the Tuanhe Prisoner Dispatch Center. Qi Shilan has since been on a hunger strike. At present, she is extremely weak and weighs around 60 pounds.
The practitioner couple Mr. Zhang Jijiang and Ms. Zhang Guirong is still being held at the Chaoyang Police Department Detention Center in the Gaojiayuan Area.

Zhang Xingtang, Dazhu Town's Party Committee Chief, led a group of people to arrest practitioner Mr. Chen Bizhang from Dazhu Town. They put him into Wanyuan City's brainwashing center on the morning of August 13, 2006.
Practitioner Mr. Tang Maoting was originally from Dazhu Town. He had recently arrived in Wanyuan County to begin a job. Zhang Xingtang and some policemen broke into his home and arrested him the afternoon of August 13. Tang Maoting refused to cooperate with them. Ye Xukui and Wang Qiang beat him and in the end dragged him into their police car. They then returned and confiscated Tang Maoting's Falun Dafa book and Master's picture.
Tang Maoting has so far been on a seven-day hunger strike. He was so weak that he had to be carried to the washroom.

A female practitioner surnamed Zheng, in her 30s, was arrested at her workplace around 10:00 a.m. on August 4, 2006. It is said that Ms. Zheng is being held at the Daguang Detention Center in Changchun City.
16. [Songyuan City, Jiling Province] Practitioner Zhang Lei ArrestedPractitioner Zhang Lei from Songyuan City was reported to the Songyuan City National Security Division for clarifying the truth. The National Security Division agents ordered Wang Wen, Changling County Police Department chief, and several plainclothes agents to arrest Zhang Lei. The arrest took place at the Tianhe Art and Crafts Factory in Shengli Village, Changling County on August 11, 2006.
With the strong request from Zhang's family, personnel at the Changling County Detention Center permitted the family's visit on the morning of August 16, 2006. Zhang Lei is on a hunger strike to protest the persecution.

Personnel from the Zhengzhou City Police Department arrested practitioner Ms. He Yulian and ransacked her home on the afternoon of August 17, 2006. One of her relatives, a female college student, was also taken away because she tried to reason with the police. It is said that they are being held at the Zhongyuan District's Xiliuhu Detention Center in Zhengzhou City, but no family visits are permitted. Police have not even let the family deliver clothes to her.

They arrested the couple between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 pm. on August 18, 2006 and confiscated a computer, some Dafa books and truth-clarifying materials. Personnel from the Huanglong Police Station of Nong'an County, Changchun City went twice to the home of Mr. Wang Jinghui in August 2006. Mr. Wang is a practitioner living in Dongwulijie Village, Nong'an County. They attempted to arrest him, but fortunately, Mr. Wang wasn't at home. Then the officers from the Huanglong Police Station posted his name on the Internet wanted list. Mr. Wang chose to lead a homeless life to avoid further persecution.

24. [Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Li Huiyue Framed and Persecuted
Mr. Li Yuehui is an employee of the Ventilation Section at the Dongfeng Mine in Qitaihe City. He was sentenced to three years of forced labor for appealing in Beijing for justice for Falun Gong. He was unemployed after his release. He returned to work after the Dongfeng Mine "11.27 Disaster" when the mine was in need of skilled labor. In March 2006, a methane sensor disappeared when he was on duty. The Security Section chief Guo Jindong released another person who was on also duty but claimed Mr. Li had stolen the sensor, though there was no evidence. They interrogated him under torture and beat him to extract a confession. They also planned to ransack his home. After an overnight detention, Mr. Li escaped.

25. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Multiple Practitioners of Dayi County Arrested
In April 2006, agents from the Dayi County 610 Office, from the National Security Team and from each police station commenced a large-scale raid of practitioners. Many have been arrested, including Ms. Gong Sulian, Ms. Zhao Chunrong, Ms. Wang Liqiong, Ms. Yang Yuqun, Mr. Wang Xiaosong, Mr. Yu Shaoping and Mr. Li Guoliang. Of those, Gong Sulian, Zhao Chunrong and Wang Liqiong are still being held at the Dayi County Detention Center.Ms. Gong Sulian went to Beijing twice to appeal for Falun Gong in 2001. Dayi County police authorities sent her to the Nanmusi Forced Labor Camp at Zizhong City in Sichuan Province for a term of one and a half years. She suffered from all kinds of torture. After her forced labor term was up, she was transferred to the Anren Town Police Station and tortured there. She walked out of the detention center with the power of righteous thoughts in 2005, but she chose to live in exile.
Practitioner Wang Liqiong went to Beijing in 2001 to appeal for justice for Falun Gong. Personnel from the Anren Town Police Station tortured her. She was locked in a tiny metal cage for many days where she could not sit up or lay down.
26. [Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Xu Yushan Tortured at the Xigemu Forced Labor Camp
Mr. Xu Yushan from Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province, started to practice Falun Gong in 1995. Mr. Xu has been harassed many times since July 20, 1999 for practicing Falun Gong. He was arrested in July 2006 at the Jiamusi City Railway Station. Responsible for the arrest are agents from the railway system police. They accused Mr. Xu of taking four truth-clarifying CDs with him. He was eventually sent to the Geximu Forced Labor Camp in Jiamusi City, where he suffered from all kinds of torture, including confinement in a small compartment. To protest the persecution, Mr. Xu has been on a hunger strike for over ten days. Police force-fed him and denied all visits from his family members. Mr. Xu is still on the hunger strike.

27. [Chongqing] Practitioner Yu Xunrong Arrested in Guizhou Province
Practitioner Ms. Yu Xunrong, 55, is a retired employee from the Dajiang Factory in the Banan District, Chongqing. She went to clarify the truth about Falun Gong in a remote area of Guizhou Province around July 28, 2006, but local police arrested her.Since July 20, 1999, Ms. Yu had been sent to forced labor camps twice. In March 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Gong and thus was sentenced to one year of forced labor. Because she refused to give up the practice, her detention term was extended by half a year. She was subsequently arrested again at the Xiaoquan Hotel and once more sentenced to one year of forced labor. Her term was extended again. Ms. Yu was put into the forced labor camp for over four years and released in 2005. Her husband Mr. Yang Daiyou went to the Qijiang rural area to clarify the truth last year, but was reported and sentenced to one year of forced labor. He is presently held at the Xishanping Prison.

Cao Huafang, the party secretary of Xubeiliu Village, Liugaizi Town, Linqing City, and several town government officers went to practitioner Mr. Sui Jianhua's home to check for taxes in the middle of April 2006. They saw "Falun Dafa is Good" on the wall facing the door. Soon afterwards, personnel from the town police station arrested Mr. Sui. They sent him to the Jinan City Forced Labor Camp for a one-and-a-half-year term a month later.

When practitioner Ms. Wu Youfang from Tongren City was distributing the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, plainclothes officers arrested and detained her at the Tongren City Detention Center. National Security Team chief Chen Haitao and other policemen interrogated her. Wu Youfang escaped ten days later with the power of her righteous thoughts.

31. [Guang'an County, Sichuan Province] Persecution of Practitioner Tang Xiewen
Practitioner Mr. Tang Xiewen from the Huaying District, Guang'an County, was distributing Dafa amulets on the streets in Yanghe Town, Huaying District on September 5, 2004. An individual named Liu Kefang reported him to police. Peng Bo, an officer of the Yanghe Police Station and Xiong Changping, a brothel boss, arrested and took him to the Yanghe Police Station. They tortured him ruthlessly and forced him to reveal the source of the truth-clarifying materials.
Tang Xiewen went out of town to work on February 18, 2005. Two months later, in April, he returned to plant rice seedlings. Village foreman Yang Caigang illegally searched his house, but found nothing. The persecutors threatened to arrest him if he refused to give up Falun Gong. Fearing arrest, Mr. Tang replied that he wouldn't practice Falun Gong. The lawless policemen then left.
