A Student's Choice of Life

Sept. 5, 2006

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a student. When I was little, I always thought that whatever my teachers said was absolutely right because they were teaching us how to be good people, and they taught us how to understand the world. Their images were great in my mind and I admired them, respected them, and believed that teaching was a noble profession. So for a long time I never doubted whatever they said, even to the point that I would obey them automatically.

After one of my teachers was treated unjustly for practicing Falun Gong, I began to have a new understanding of my teachers and the world around me. Through the incident, I saw that the actions of many of my teachers, the director, the president, and the party secretary do not match their words. They all acted as though they were not themselves, which reminded me of chameleons. It seems that there is no place for sincerity in today's society, that under the Chinese Communist system good people are down-trodden, and to be unscrupulous is the way to gain a foothold in society. Goosebumps arise when I think of it, and I realize that I am living amidst a red terror and can be swallowed up at any moment. This is simply a world of demons whose ugly faces can be seen everywhere. Their pompous talks are all fake, and the surface education they provide is merely a trick to fool students. What they truly train are people who eat people.

To me, this teacher who practices Falun Gong is a man of integrity who lives a clean life. He told us that Falun Gong is all about being a good person by observing the principle of "Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance." He also told us how to start being better people, how to resolve conflicts among students, how to turn enemies into friends by understanding others, how to show kindness to others, and how to get rid of wickedness in our minds. I tried to behave according to what he taught us and achieved good results. He gets along with everyone, including other teachers, his students, and school administrators. He always looks compassionate, and in private we all say he is a really nice man.

Not long ago, many teachers avoided him and didn't even dare to talk to him when they met him, because those who practice Falun Gong are being persecuted. A director at the school, instead of giving him a hand, pushed him away by submitting proposals to punish him. I could not understand why a good teacher who practices Falun Gong could be treated so unfairly. Why are those who are supposed to be our role models and examples, and our respected school administrators, so brazenly doing things only bad people would do? When will this hypocritical education stop? What exactly do you want us to be? What kind of people are the CCP's leaders? Why do they hate people who want to be good? Why do they oppose "Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance"?

I pondered these questions for a long time before I finally decided: I choose Falun Gong and reject the doctrine of the evil cult of the Chinese Communist Party. At that moment of choice, I felt my mind open, a weight lift off my chest, and that a riddle in my head was solved. I am convinced that the system of the wicked Chinese communist cult will fall apart and the justice will eventually prevail over the evil.
