Practitioner Ms. Zhao Caihua, from Longgang District in Huludao City, has been unlawfully held and abused in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for three month. She is in an extremely weak physical state and throws up whatever she eats. She also suffers from heart problems. Her life is in imminent danger.
2. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Kai and Two Other Practitioners Taken into Custody
At around noon on January 5, 2007, Mr. Li Kai, Ms. Zhao Hong, and another female practitioner were on their way back to the downtown area after visiting fellow practitioners in a forced labor institute. When they entered the jurisdiction of the Petroleum Police Station in Jinzhou City, several officers from the Petroleum Police Station suddenly got out of a police vehicle. They forcibly took the three practitioners, who were walking, into custody. Without any paperwork, Mr. Li Kai was sent to a detention center and Ms. Zhao Hong and the other practitioner were sent to a different detention center.

3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Mr. Xue Xinkai Unlawfully Sentenced to Seven Years in Prison, Is Appealing the Sentence
Under the advice of the 610 Office, the Ganjingzi District Court in Dalian City sentenced practitioner Mr. Xue Xinkai to seven years in prison on December 13, 2006. There was no public hearing, and Mr. Xue's family did not receive any notice. Wang Lijuan (female), the judge, even refused to have the sentencing slip delivered to the family.
Mr. Xue filed an appeal by himself, and he is pleading not guilty. The appeal has been sent to the Dalian City Intermediate Court.

4. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Additional Information on the Detention of Practitioners Mr. Zhang Keliang and His Wife Ms. Wang Zhongyun
At around 3:00 p.m. on February 4, 2005 (shortly before the Chinese New Year's Day), when Mr. Zhang Keliang, his wife Ms. Wang Zhongyun, and their daughter just stepped into their home in Houpuli (after two years of being forced to stay out of town), twenty or so police officers from the Shouguang Police Department suddenly forced their way into the yard. The officers started searching, while sealing off the entryways to neighbors' homes as well as intersections. They then took Mr. Zhang Keliang and his wife into custody. Mr. Zhang and Ms. Wang are being held in the Shouguang Detention Center. Their family has been denied any visits. Their elderly mother and young daughter have been left at home supporting each other.

On the evening of January 10, 2007, Mr. Luo Guolong, a practitioner from Ciyutuo Village in Yinjia Township, Xinchengzi District, Shenyang City, was taken into custody by the Yinjia Township Police Station. The police also took away his personal computer and other items.

On the morning of January 11, 2007, Ms. Meng Fanying and Ms. Yang Xiuyun, practitioners from Baicheng City, were taken into custody while distributing truth-clarifying materials. Yu Zhe (male), head of the State Security Division, Zhao Fuquan, deputy head of the State Security Division, and several other officers also confiscated a personal computer and a copy of the book Zhuan Falun from Ms. Meng's home after taking them into custody.

Mr. Qi Qingyuan, a practitioner from Liaoyang City, is being held in the Dongling Prison in Shenyang City. Around thirty practitioners are held in this prison.
Ms. Liu Fengbo, a practitioner from Liaoyang City, is being held in the Shenyang Prison Complex (also known as the Dabei Prison). According to reliable sources, Ms. Liu suffers from illnesses all over her body due to abuse. She cannot walk steadily and has to be held by two people while walking down stairs. She also suffers mental trauma and appears to be lost. She looks very pained all the time judging from her facial expressions. Her left foot trembles, and blisters cover her lips and tongue. She cannot hear what others say to her, nor can she speak. She is in very weak condition, but inmates still continue to deprive her of sleep.
8. [Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners Mr. Yu Shengquan, His Wife and Son All Unlawfully Sentenced to Prison or Forced Labor
At around 5:00 p.m. on October 28, 2005, a group of State Security officers who claimed to be examining heating pipes forced their way into Mr. Yu Shengquan's home at No. 70 Ande Street in Daoli District. Mr. Yu, 59, is an employee who retired early from the Heilongjiang Branch of Agriculture Bank. The police took Mr. Yu, his wife, and his son into custody. They confiscated two desktop computers (one was used by Mr. Yu's son), some peripherals and spare parts, Falun Dafa books, a portrait of Falun Gong's founder, and some DVDs. The police took the three of them to the Daoli Police Department in Harbin for interrogation. At 2:00 a.m. that night, Mr. Yu Shengquan and his son Mr. Yu Songxue were sent to the Daoli District Detention Center. Ms. Zheng Wenxin, Mr. Yu's 61-year-old wife, was sent to the Daoli District No. 2 Detention Center. Ms. Zheng and her son were both sentenced to one year of forced labor at the same time. Mr. Yu Songxue was sent to the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp.
Mr. Yu Shengquan was sentenced to five years in prison. He was notified that he was dismissed by the bank he had retired from. Mr. Yu was in extremely weak condition. He could hardly speak or walk, yet he was still sent to the Hulan Prison. About two weeks later, he was transferred to the Daqing Prison.

9. [Sanhe City, Hebei Province] Nine Practitioners, including Mr. Ma Weishan, Unlawfully Put on Trial
On January 11, 2007, the Sanhe City Court unlawfully put nine practitioners on trial, including Mr. Ma Weishan, Mr. Zhang Deli, Ms. Bai Yanxia, and Mr. Zhou Chuanzhong. Police, plainclothes police, crowd control task forces, ambulances, and physicians were deployed heavily outside the courtroom. It was likely that the practitioners were not in good physical condition. The trial lasted from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with no verdict.

10. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Ms. Wang Shupei and Her Two Sisters Taken into Custody
On January 10, 2007, Ms. Wang Shupei, a practitioner from Zhaoyuan City, left home in the morning and did not return. In the afternoon, officials at the Jinan Prison called Ms. Wang's younger sister, Ms. Wang Shuping (who is also a practitioner). The officials said that Ms. Wang Shupei was clarifying the truth in the city's government and was arrested. Ms. Wang Shuping and her elder sister Ms. Wang Shucui (also a practitioner) went to the government demanding the release of their sister. These two sisters were immediately taken into custody. The three sisters are being held in the Zhaoyuan City Legal Training Center (a brainwashing center). Ms. Wang Shucui and Ms. Wang Shuping's home were also unlawfully searched on January 10.

Ms. Mao Chunxia, a practitioner from Luoyang City, Henan Province, was unlawfully sentenced to forced labor by the State Security Division of the Chanhe District Police Department. On January 7, 2007, Ms. Mao managed to escape from the detention center. She has to stay away from her home to avoid further persecution.
13. [Guizhou Province] Practitioner Ms. Liu Taoying Unlawfully Held in Custody
Ms. Liu Taoying, a practitioner from the Organic Chemical Factory in Guizhou Province, has been taken into custody by the police. She has been extorted of 1,000 yuan in cash and held in the Qingzhen Police Department for two weeks.
14. [Wudalianchi City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners Ms. Qu Lianying and Ms. Sun Guiying Being Persecuted
On November 3, 2006, Ms. Qu Lianying, a practitioner from Wudalianchi City, went to the countryside to distribute truth-clarifying materials. Local villagers turned her in to the police and she was taken to the Wudalianchi City Detention Center. She was released fifteen days later. On December 16, the police were escalating the persecution again. Ms. Qu has been forced to leave home. The police have staked out at her home for the past few days.
Ms. Sun Guiying, who worked at Radio Station 808, has been dismissed from her job. Her husband, who works at the same radio station affiliated with the broadcasting and television department, has been transferred away from his job. On December 19, a group of police officers showed up at Ms. Sun's home. They took her into custody without cause. Ms. Sun Guiying is being held in the Wudalianchi City Detention Center.

In December 2006, Mr. Cheng Huazheng went to the Dongjie Police Station to clarify the truth. Wang Zhong (male), an officer at the police station, and other officers from the Xixiu District Police Department took Mr. Cheng to the Anshun City No. 2 Detention Center. On December 29, Mr. Cheng was unlawfully sentenced to two years of forced labor and sent to the Zhongba Forced Labor Camp in Guizhou Province.
Mr. Cheng Huazheng was sent to the same labor camp in December 2002 for three years of forced labor, where he underwent cruel persecution.

They ransacked the place and took possession of two season's greeting cards made by practitioners and two weekly magazines before leaving in disappointment.

Police from the Shaping Town Police Station took him into custody and sent him to the Taoyuan County Detention Center before daybreak.
In addition, Ms. Wen Lijun, a practitioner from Pantang Township in Taoyuan County, has been sentenced to one year of forced labor. She has been sent to the Baimalong Forced Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City.

On January 7, 2007, practitioner Ms. Wang Suhua, mother of Ms. Du Juan (who died as a result of persecution), was followed by the police and taken into custody while clarifying the truth in Zhangjiayakou in Shaping Town, Yubei District. On the morning of January 8, another practitioner with the last name of Li was taken into custody at home after being turned in by a former practitioner who was brainwashed. They started ransacking the place upon spotting a Falun Dafa book. Mr. Han was not at home. The officers took his wife, Ms. Deng Cuizhi, to the Qinglong County Detention Center.
