(Clearwisdom.net) On October 13 and 14, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners were invited to participate in the Natural Therapies & Natural Health Expo in Genk City, Belgium. The expo showcased various natural therapy methods and natural health products. Photos of the expo held in other Belgian cities were posted at its website. Among them, a Falun Dafa booth can be seen in the photos taken at the city of Leuven. The expo organizers in Genk also invited Falun Gong practitioners to participate. Genk is a typical multicultural city, in which nearly one third of the population of some 60,000 are immigrants, mostly from Italy, Turkey and Greece.

At their booth, the practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises, taught visitors how to fold paper lotus flowers, and introduced traditional Chinese music, dances and calligraphy.

During the 2-day expo, all of the visitors who passed by the Falun Dafa booth were presented with a Falun Gong flyer. Many people stopped to watch the demonstration of the Falun Gong exercises. Some looked at the Dafa books on display or talked to practitioners for more information. The most commonly asked questions were what Falun Gong is, how to practice it, where they could learn the exercises. Some asked for the practitioners' contact information. Several people who watched the demonstration for a long time eventually bought Falun Gong books.

The lotus flower folding table was constantly packed with visitors. While teaching visitors how to fold paper lotus flowers, practitioner Kamen also told the visitors the facts about the persecution in China and how Falun Gong practitioners have been responding to the persecution with peaceful appeal activities. Many people were moved by the story of little practitioner Fadu.

During the expo, Falun Gong practitioner Jane Dai and her daughter Fadu happened to be in Belgium and they were invited to participate in this event. Fadu is a little girl who used to live in a happy family in China. However, due to the persecution, some of her family members died while others have been forced to become destitute. Her father was tortured to death when she was only eight months old. Shortly after the death of her father, her aunt was illegally arrested, and her grandfather passed away due to tremendous grief. Fadu and her mother have traveled to many countries to raise awareness of the persecution by sharing their story. Many children around the world have folded paper lotus flowers to express their care for all the Falun Gong children like Fadu. Many of the attendees of the expo expressed their admiration and encouragement for Jane and Fadu.
