1. [Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Hongshu Persecuted in Liaoning Province Women's Prison
Practitioner Ms. Li Hongshu, 33, who has an associate degree, was a physician in the Internal Medicine Section of the Panjin City No. 1 Hospital. In November 2002, she was arrested for the second time and subsequently sentenced to ten years in prison. She is being held in the No. 8 Ward of the Liaoning Province Women's Prison.
Zuo Xiaoyan (female), head of the No. 8 Ward in the Liaoning Province Women's Prison, has resorted to all kinds approaches to persecute Ms. Li Shuhong and other practitioners: downgrading of meal quality if a practitioner cannot finish an overloaded assignment, arbitrarily fining practitioners, kicking, punching, and beating them with electric batons, forcing them to bend over facing the wall, depriving practitioners of sleep around the clock when there are extra work orders, not allowing practitioners to spend money deposited by their family members, and not granting family visits.

Practitioners Ms. Wang Xiuqin and another practitioner with the last name of Cheng from Qingyuan County, Fushun City, were taken into custody on the morning of January 14, 2007.
3. [Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Li Shaotie on Hunger Strike in Suihua City Labor Camp
Mr. Li Shaotie, a practitioner from Fujin City, Heilongjiang Province, is being held in the Suihua City Forced Labor Camp. Recently, the labor camp authorities have held several practitioners in solitary confinement. Mr. Li went on a hunger strike, demanding the release of his fellow practitioners. His life is in imminent danger.
When his family learned of this, they demanded the labor camp to release Mr. Li immediately. After the labor camp officials sent him to a hospital for a physical examination, they had to fill out a form to grant Mr. Li "medical parole," but they came up with the excuse that the form needed to be authorized by city and provincial authorities.

4. [Acheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhao Yu'an Deprived Visitation Rights
Mr. Zhao Yu'an, a practitioner from Acheng City, Heilongjiang Province, was arrested by the State Security Division in Acheng City (now renamed the Acheng District State Security Division) and the Hedong Police Station. After five months of custody at the local detention center, Mr. Zhao was sentenced to five years in prison for transmitting truth-clarification programs over closed-circuit television. He was sent to a newly built prison in Harbin City and soon transferred to the Daqing Prison secretly. He was taken to the Daqing No. 4 People's Hospital several times for emergency rescue. When his family learned of this, they rushed to the hospital. However, Mr. Zhao had been sent back to the prison. When his family went to the prison to visit, the officials did not let them meet him on grounds that he did not follow prison instructions. Mr. Zhao's family members have never been able to meet with him.
5. [Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Police Surround Ms. Lu Shouhua's Home
Ms. Lu Shouhua's husband, practitioner Mr. Wei Xingshe, went back to his hometown to distribute truth-clarifying materials. He was turned in to the police and taken into custody. Officers from the police station, the joint security unit, and the state security division led by Zhao Rujian (male) of the 610 Office then besieged his home. When the officers broke in, they took Ms. Lu and her son into custody for unlawful interrogation. The son was released, but he is still being followed. The whereabouts of Ms. Lu and Mr. Wei are unknown. Several officers from the Jiawang District Police Station and the State Security Division in Xuzhou City have staked out Ms. Lu's home since around 6:00 p.m. on January 30, 2007. They are still there.
Practitioners Mr. Meng Qingquan and Mr. Zhang Chengjin went to send forth righteous thoughts nearby. They were taken into custody at the Daquan Police Station. Their homes were unlawfully searched.
6. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Xin Xin and Other Practitioners Arrested
On the evening of January 22, 2007, officers from Jilin City, Jilin Province, launched a campaign of harassment targeting practitioners. Residential officers in various districts went to interrogate each practitioner on their list because Chinese leader Hu Jintao was about to visit Jilin Province. Ms. Xin Xin, Mr. Feng Shaogui, and another practitioner were arrested in Ms. Xin's home. Two officers (one of whom has the last name He) also took away four printers and other personal items. Ms. Xin and the other practitioners are being held in the Jilin City No. 1 Detention Center.

In late September 2005, Ms. He Jingyan, a practitioner from Yichang City, Hubei Province, was sentenced to seven years in prison. Ms. He is being held at No. 71 Baofeng Road (Wuhan Women's Prison) in Wuhan City, Hubei Province. According to information provided by fellow practitioners who were release from the prison, Ms. He refused to comply with any evil arrangements, refused to talk, and refused to engage in slave labor. She has been placed under strict surveillance for several months. She has become emaciated and very weak.

8. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Liu Jingzhou and Others Arrested
On the evening of January 26, 2007, practitioners Mr. Liu Jingzhou and Ms. Wang Meifang from Fushun Street in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, were taken into custody by the Xinyang Road Police Station while clarifying the truth. The police officers lied to Ms. Wang, saying that if she paid 6,000 yuan, they would let them go. When Ms. Wang's daughter, Ms. Liu Weinan, received her mother's phone call and brought 6,000 yuan to the police station, she was also taken into custody. All the three of them were sent to Yaziquan Detention Center.

On January 25, 2007, Mr. Zhang Tao, a practitioner held in the No. 15 Ward in the new Xinglong Prison in Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province, was locked in solitary confinement for clarifying the truth and teaching inmates the Falun Gong exercises. Mr. Zhang was severely tortured.

On January 25, 2007, practitioner Ms. Cao Yan from Linghai City in Liaoning Province and practitioners Zhao Dan and Ms. Sun Fengjie from the Jinzhou Oil Production Plant in the Liaohe Oil Fields in Panjin City went to the Jinzhou Oil Production Plant to distribute truth-clarifying materials. They were taken into custody by the local police. Zhao Dan has returned home. Ms. Cao Yan and Ms. Sun Fengjie are being held in the Liaohe Oil Fields Detention Center, which is operated by the Supervision Branch Team of the Liaohe Police Department.

13. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Tao Yuan Arrested Again
At around 8:00 a.m. on January 28, 2007, practitioner Mr. Tao Yuan from Chengdu City was taken into custody on his way to work. Officers from the Jinyang Police Station and community security guards had waited at the Yingyuan Garden for quite some time. They immediately punched and kicked Mr. Tao. When Mr. Tao's elderly parents went to the police station demanding their son's release, the officers denied involvement or knowledge. Mr. Tao's whereabouts remain unknown.

Mr. Zhang Xianfeng, a practitioner from Xinyang City, Henan Province, was taken into custody from his home by the police on December 22, 2006. The police also confiscated some truth-clarifying materials. The arrest warrant was not issued until the next day. Mr. Zhang is being held in the Pingqiao District Detention Center.

16. [Pan County, Guizhou Province] Persecution Facts in Pan County
Around January 10, 2007, members of the Guizhou Province 610 Office led officers from the Liupanshui City 610 Office, the Pan County 610 Office, the State Security Division, and various local police stations to a station in Baiguo Town in Pan County. At around midnight on January 23, the police launched a coordinated campaign to arrest practitioners and search their homes. Over ten practitioners and non-practitioners were taken into custody. One of those arrested was released after his or her family members went to the police station demanding their immediate release. The rest were sent to a brainwashing center operated by the Pan County (now Chengguan Town) Police Department on January 24. It has been learned that each person is being held in solitary confinement. It has been verified that Ms. Xiao Yunhui, Mr. Tan Guangwan, Ms. Wang Shixian, Mr. Ren Taoguai, Mr. Chen Mingsai, Ms. He Fang, and Ms. Hu Caiyun have been taken into custody. In addition, three practitioners from Songhe Township (whose names are yet to be determined) were also taken into custody. Practitioner Mr. Guo Shenghuan, a teacher in the Mathematics Department at Shanghai Normal University, was taken into custody by officers from the Xuhui Police Department in Shanghai on January 25, 2007. On the evening of January 30, 2007, Ms. Wang Meiqing, a practitioner from Zhaoyuan City in Shandong Province in her 60s, went to the family quarters of the Zhaoyuan City Agriculture Bank to post truth-clarifying materials. Plainclothes officers who were staked out there turned her in to the police. Officers from the Zhaoyuan City 610 Office arrived in a police vehicle and took Ms. Wang into custody.

19. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Practitioner Zhu Junhua Arrested
Practitioner Zhu Junhuan (gender unknown) from Jingyan County in Leshan City, Sichuan Province, was arrested by the county police half a month ago whil clarifying the truth in a local teahouse.
20. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Mr. Chen Ling Arrested in Meihekou City
Mr. Cheng Ling, a practitioner from the Shuidong Cement Field in Tonghua County, Jilin Province, was on his way back to his hometown of Shanghai with his wife around January 20, 2007. When they were at Meihekou City Railroad Station, the railroad police arrested Mr. Chen. Traumatized by the ordeal, his wife fell ill and is bedridden.
21. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Chenying and Ms. Liu Xingge Arrested
On the evening of January 29, 2007, Ms. Li Chenying and Ms. Liu Xingge, practitioners from Dalianwan Town in the Ganjingzi District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, went to the courtyard where the Yuanbaoshan Military is stationed. They were turned in to the police. Officers from the Bianfang Police Station in Dalianwan Town took them into custody. The officers searched the practitioners' homes the next day. A Falun Dafa material production site was sabotaged and Falun Dafa books were confiscated. The two practitioners have been taken to Yaojia Detention Center.

22. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Hu Jian'guo and Mr. Wang Shunli Detained in Hewan Labor Camp
At the end of October 2006, Mr. Hu Jianguo, a practitioner from Hanzheng Street in Wuhan, Hubei Province, was arrested by the Wuhan police. Mr. Hu has been sentenced to one year of forced labor. Mr. Wang Shunli, a practitioner who had been forced to leave Anzheng, was arrested in Wuhan City and sentenced to 18 months of forced labor. Both practitioners are held in the Hewan Forced Labor Camp.
23. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Liang Jinchun and Others Transferred to Yangjiang Prison
It has been learned that Mr. Liang Jinchun, a practitioner who had been sentenced to seven years in prison, was taken to Yangjiang Prison on January 25, 2007. Two other practitioners, Mr. Liao Chengbin and Mr. Li Qiaosong, were also taken there at the same time.

On the morning of January 31, 2007, Ms. Zhou Changfeng, a practitioner from Yunfu City, Guangdong Province, was taken to the Sanshui Brainwashing Center while shopping at a farm market. Prior to this, the officials had knocked on her door twice, but she refused to open the door.
25. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Mr. Tan Jinqing Arrested
At around noon on January 28, 2007, Mr. Tan Jinqing, a practitioner from the Baiyun District in Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, was arrested by Baiyun District police.
On January 27, members of the residential committee in charge of the residential area where Mr. Tan lives were coerced by the Baiyun District police to search the home of Mr. Tan's sister, who is also a practitioner. They threatened to send her to a forced labor camp and held her overnight.
Around noon the next day, the residential committee members and officers from the Baiyun District broke into Mr. Tan's home. They searched the place and took Mr. Tan away. At the time, Mr. Tan was in slippers. He shouted, "Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance is good!" and "I did nothing illegal. I am a good person." The members of the residential committee were shocked. They told the police, "You're going to face karmic retribution for doing this. Don't get us involved in this kind of thing anymore."
26. [Yining City, Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region] Mr. Yu Zhigang and His Wife, Chen Junying, Taken into Custody
On January 30, 2007, Mr. Yu Zhigang and his wife, Ms. Chen Junying, practitioners from Yining City, Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region, were taken into the Yining City Detention Center by the Yining City Police Department. The police claimed that Falun Dafa leaflets were found in the residential complex where they lived and everyone on the tape taken by security cameras was a suspect. Their homes were searched. Mr. Yu Zhigang has been released, but Ms. Chen Junying was taken to the detention center.

At the end of November 2006, the Zibo City 610 Office in Shandong Province issued a list of names to many school principals with information about 26 practitioners in the education system. It is likely that those 26 practitioners were persecuted by the 610 Office.
28. [Guizhou Province] The Police Pay 610 Office Agents to Identify Practitioners on the Street
Officers from the Liupanshui City 610 Office, the Pan County 610 Office, the county's state security division, and the Baiguo Town Police Station were led by officials from the Guizhou Province 610 Office to identify practitioners on the street. The officers rented a civilian car owned by Zou Longyue, male, whose cell phone number is 86-13885843412. The local officers in the car were Yu Hong (gender unknown), Chen Jiachang (male), Ao Huaqiang (male, from the transient population administration office), and Wu Jinzhong. It was said that each of them had received an advance payment of 4,000 yuan. For each practitioner they identified, they would receive a reward of 8,000 yuan.
